  1. Looking for a partner tomorrow 12/21/11 to climb Oompa Loompa or any other climbs in the Snow Lake vicinity. I can lead but individuals with previous experience will have preference. Dave
  2. When are they going to upgrade Redmond?
  3. 180 Degrees South would be good if you like this sort of thing . Personally, I thought it sucked. K2 (which I happen to be watching right now) is good if you like this sort of thing soooo extreme you should drink mountain dew while watching. Opinions are like assholes...
  4. Fork yeah!!!!!!! STOKED Badass!
  5. New or old generation Vipers?
  6. Remember what? who died and made you the cascadeclimbers god? Stop being so jealous that other people are getting on ice and you are stuck in the NW. Be grateful for the photo stoke. Please keep them coming.
  7. But I like the ice climbing forum better.
  8. Now, did you want some sort of prize, badge of honor, or affirmation from the rest of this site? A humble man would say he climbed the North Face...
  9. Hi Sam, It was cool running into a fellow CC'er out there! We'll hit you up. Have fun out there this season!
  10. It's ok Kevin just remember WWWWD...
  11. Fun trip, kinda wish it was still in my backyard. Had a great time with Kevin and Craig. Look forward to more good times together. Kevino working off the hangover sans rope. Gotta watch those straps. Kevino leading Upper GS.
  12. Still one spot open!
  13. Really our only requirements are that you know how to climb ice and know how to drink.
  14. Nice Vern Looks like a good time!
  15. Learn how to ski in the resort for a few years to get the fundamentals down - then focus on backcountry. Lessons would be a great idea. That is doing it the right way. I believe you would be doing yourself and your partners a disservice by not being a fundamentally sound skier and venturing into the backcountry. Crystal or Baker are great places to venture into the sidecountry once you are a COMPETANT skier. I know it is tough to wait because you're excited, but your patience will pay off! Best of luck to you and I hope you have a great time back in the PNW!
  16. In Seattle area, I think Marmot in Bellevue has it. In Bozeman Northern Lights on Babcock Ave will definitely have it. Should be a fun time for you. Hyalite is overwhelming because of the concentration of quality climbable ice! Enjoy!
  17. Buy Winter Dance.
  18. Jeez people, get a fatty rope and a solist, silent partner, or a gri gri... No more of this improvised solo device crap.
  19. I'm coming to Bozeman for Christmas and the week following... probably not when you will be there though. I am the guy who you talked to at the LTW parking lot. Oh, if only I had time off to make another trip out there to join you in Cody! Anywho, enjoy the season!
  20. Suck it Kevino. Have fun with admits tonight!
  21. OK seriously. As an MSU graduate I would do pull ups on tools off of my bed loft in South Hedges. For food, I can tell you to avoid the swag and go to Hannon - the food and view are much better there. To get stronger, avoid the on campus gym because it sucks ass. Instead go to Spire, it'll get you in ice shape real quick. And finally, if you want advice for ice climbing, go to Northern Lights, the guys there (Greg, Pete, Loren, etc..)are super chill and know their s**t. Don't ask for ice advice on this site when you have a resource like that. I miss Bozangeles!
  22. Wait Kevino.... You're telling me that I don't have to needlessly drive up to Alpental to check on conditions anymore? All I have to do is go to CC.com and check the kevino's Alpental updates thread? What a great contribution to the site. Please do tell us when you go solo the Source Lake Line!
  23. PM sent on Venta SV.
