  1. Nice send gentlemen... I use that term loosely. Looks like a sufferfest in the heat.

    It's official!

Better consult our CC "expert" Sir Boner. As far as I know, it's some sort of puter virus that causes extreme fine projectile diarrhea and usually gets worse with time. Unfortunately, there is no known cure at this time. Although not a cure, there are some promising help groups and 1200 step programs to minimize the damage to those bit by this narsty bug.

    Gay Marriage

I think the fundamental argument is mostly based on religion and cultural "norms" across the board. As far as I know (granted, I'm and admitted simpleton idiot), this is the first time in recorded history that being gay is so widely and openly accepted. Not just from the "Christian" point of view, but it seems MOST societies in history have put a taboo on same sex relations. For better or worse, I guess one could say. These types of "norms" in society don't change easily without a lot of resistance from the traditional points of view, I suppose... It threatens long held belief systems. Rightly so as it is opposite of the past way(s) of thinking. This does not necessarily prove to be "logical", per say, but it has been the "norm" for many thousands of years. At least from a societal acceptance point of view.(IMHO)

    Black Sabbath

I went to see Tom Petty in LA earlier this month for my birthday. Super small venue (1200 peeps), we were right up front and the electricity of such a small venue was incredible, so was the sound. They mostly played a lot of old school, more obscure songs, with a dose of the usual classics. Looking forward to the new album due out later this year. This one's for you Bone... [video:youtube]

    Black Sabbath

I know I'm getting old when I realize AC/DC suck. The same three cords and screaming.
  14. Not officially Beacon Rock, but the stars aligned as the full Solstice moon took over the gorge here at the NoBo Trifecta. Big Dipper over Mt Hamilton, Soltice, 2013... Certainly an astrological sign that I'm right where I'm supposed to be, I recon.
  15. Don't forget Blowout, Bluebird, Wind Surfer, Steppenwolf & Jill's Thrill to name just a few. IF Beacon is open by then.
  16. I've also got the FR60 and I really like it other than I've had some bugs with the software.
  17. That's what yer wife told me a few years back on das corner... You musta taught her, eh?
  18. When in Rome, I recon...
  19. Treat it like any other wait in line... Be respectful, don't cut without permission.
  20. Don't forget about the "best climbing in Oregon" at Beacon Rock, which may be open by mid July. Half hour drive from HR. I've yet to go, but have heard good reports of Klinger.
  21. I remember that day. Ahhh, the good ole Beatard times... Will soon be upon again. Who's coming to the Beacon season opener BBQ at my place, BTW? Specifics TBTD upon opening.

  23. I like Geoff's story at some wall, I think it was Frog Land in RR... Some euro's cut the line of several parties at the base and the leader says, "Wow, this is nice rock", as he is grabbing it and just continues on up...
  24. Yep. Tons of rugrats at the NoBo Trifecta... My strawberries are going bananas, my raspberries are going nuts and my blueberries are blowing up like that chick in Willy Wonka.
