Rush just stated that Bush's response to Katrina was "outstanding", emphasizing once the liberals let him do his job. and, that despite the fact that tons of aid is on the ground at Haiti's airports but the roads are totally fucked and there is difficulty is initiating distribution thusfar, "Obama has completely botched this!" then he defended his douchery from yesterday by saying Obama is trying scam people looking to donate into contributing to his reelection campaign. Voice of the GOP... What a cocksmoker.

same difference- Oregon cragging rant mixed in with bolting ethics and complaints about crowds and who has climbed there longer and how it's the best kept secret since sliced bread. Kinda like one of those pinkbone threads where it's hard to discern which one is dumb and which one is dumber- in the end it's just a lot of noise.

Because there are more of us than you. Wankers? Yes, so i've noticed.

I'm appalled that he didn't take the first flight to Port au Prince and set up camp in the gutter with everyone, obviously he doesn't care since he just sat on his ivory tower talking about helping people. He even had the gall to eat dinner that night!

How did this thread turn into another BeaconZone wankfest? Isn't there some meme the mods can write that will siphon that drivel into the proper toilet?

nice ass, Raindawg, but I'm afraid I don't envy your lingerie crossdressing fetish. Keep that to yourself! for shame, KKKKK! Why send him up to the South Tahoma when there's a veritable graveyard on the Muir Snowfield just waiting to be violated.

Anytime, old man. I'll grind your ass into the ground Wow. That doesn't sound gay at all. Well, I am talking to a Richard Simmons look-alike. Gotta entice him to the challenge somehow. you could just tell him that the Butler shelter is a giant sarcophagus full of ancient treasures and dead bodies...

What we need right now is a good red scare.

As long as we get their oil, I mean our oil, eventually, then all those deaths will have been worth it. God bless Halliburton and America.

She's one of us. That pretty much says it all. I just wonder though if the elitist attitude in both parties will take a thumping in 2012 as populist sentiment is consolidated into a viable political force fueled by the continuation of conditions mimicking economic depression. Also, I could never understand the incongruity of neglecting the folks closest to one, say abusive alcoholic Uncle Joe or your next door neighbor, yet at the same time advocating a Kumbaya approach to complete strangers on the other side of the globe because you think the they're getting a bad rap. Why are people nicer to people they don't know as opposed to someone you might know? Familiarity breeds contempt? People of Wal-Mart? "Alcoholic Uncle Joe" is a great guy, deep down, and we all love him. But we won't be letting him take the kids out for a Sunday drive, either. And we don't want him to be President. If you think xenophobia, racism, paranoia, 16th century religious fundamentalism that belongs on the same shelf with Harry Potter and Batman, and lack of education (elitists! OMG) is just what we need, knock yourself out.

Iliotibial Band Syndrome
StevenSeagal replied to Ryan Canfield's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
You see these foam rollers in many gyms nowadays, and almost every PT clinic will have them. They are available to buy at many sporting goods places- I would try Big5 or Sports Authority. Better yet, google "therapeutic foam roller" and you'll find them for really cheap. For the IT band, you'll want the 12" long one; there are longer ones that are good for rolling under your back. It's basically a firm, compact foam material. For the IT band, lay on your side and put the roller under your outer thigh; roll up and down on your leg, slowly, with as much weight on the roller as you can bear while keeping you leg straight, but also try not to flex your thigh muscles too much. Roll between just below your knee (the IT attachment point) all the way up to you outer butt. The 'sweet spot' you will likely find as the depression just above your outer knee- it will take some time to loosen this area and that is usually where the worst pain occurs with IT problems. But you'll be surprised at how tight it can feel just above that area so focus on the whole band equally! Your results of course may vary so I also recommend talking to a PT or a massage therapist. Massage therapist used to use an actual rolling pin (like the baking kind) on the IT ban before the foamy became available. Good luck-- -
Iliotibial Band Syndrome
StevenSeagal replied to Ryan Canfield's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
The foam roller mentioned above was, for me, a silver bullet. It hurts like hell when you first use it, but over a few days it strips out the IT band and makes it more pliable and then it isn't near as painful to roll on it. I had a serious issue with it that lasted a few months but the roller and some diligent stretching, along with some massage, took care of it. The foam roller is about $10 and worth every penny. -
Already the opinion of even Alaska's conservatives, who are now understanding what exactly she meant when she resigned so that "she could better serve the people of Alaska"- by moving to the lower 48 to more fully embrace her narcissism.
-
Better still, why aren't you appalled by her?
-
But first... Her message for the future generations! Think of all the jobs drunkenness helps to create! Bringing the wisdom of Alaska to the big stage: fat, drunk and stupid. And a retard shall lead them.

No. They cost too much, and I had people waiting on me who were in no position to finish the climb. And they were cold. I hung on a nut, threw down my sweater and finished. With "1 PA" is the way I wrote it in my notes. The 2nd on the rope, who is now a big advocate of sport climbing and who has a mouth even larger than yours, followed the pitch with tension for nearly every move. I only went back to the climb to see if my Vertical World membership was providing dividends. BOOO BOOO BOOO U SUCK BOOO BOOO BOOO GO HOME POSER BOOO BOOO... musta sucked being all cold while dripping sweat from the heat, eh? Belayer was cold, I wasn't. I couldn't wiggle up that slot with three layers. real climbers choose partners who don't get cold. And we used to always wear at least 4 layers on ROTC, even on hot days, because we wanted to ascend the slot by fair means.
-
True that. The systemic homogymization is complete and climbing, bolted and gear, is now officially a matter of hanging on ropes incrementally working lines ad nausem until clean sends can be done. Cool, I get it. But it then shouldn't be a mystery why there is such a big spread in everyone's sport and trad ratings. All good, but probably best to avoid situations anywhere near your limit where you'll be run out on unknown and difficult technical terrain and can't hang to sort things out. Mais alors, la grande majorité d'entre vous ne le sera jamais - c'est la vie dans les banlieues. You were typing this one handed on your iPhone, hanging off a loose crimper 80' above a #2 RP, weren't you? You seem so calm. I'm impressed.

Jerry Springer is also incredibly popular.

-
I hope you pulled the rope and left your cam behind for climbers who deserved to be up there.
-
I thought this was going to be about the Alaskan pit bull variety...
-
it's just you. It's not real climbing unless a fall is likely and will involve certain death or grave injury. Everyone can do what they want and I don't judge them for it, I just think they are pathetic pussies who are ruining my sport. I hate people.
