Yeah? Well I've heard the same about my acting. At least I can still kick your ass.

Isn't every post in Spray just a long-winded version of this one? Actually, pretty much every spray thread, particularly ones about bolts or politics, goes something like this: [video:youtube]LawbREaH8CE
  3. I thought we wanted the president to be strong on his principles and not afraid to speak his mind...? Well, good thing Cheney spent all those years strengthening the executive branch, who could have foreseen we'd get Adolf Hitler in the next election?
  4. He's been implanted with the neocon's micro chip that has a daily Rush/Beck/Savage/Levin/Hannity/Fox talking point feed so that he is prepared with clever zingers when "talking to liberals".
  5. how about starting with a nice hike up Mt. Si then? If KK pisses you off you can snag an ice axe from a passing Mountie for a weapon...
  6. maybe we can arrange a j_b/PP/KKK/Tvash foursome. 4, to keep it fair and balanced...
  7. Hell no! I learned a long time ago that choice of climbing partners is critical for a successful trip. Life's too short to spend any of it with nincompoops. you see, we're off to a bad start. Try again...
  8. hey, we've found common ground on a few topics here...graverobbing, for instance.
  9. Bullshit. Big difference. Maybe if you spent a little less time on your self-delusional think-tank analyses of politics and endless tirades you could climb on the weekends instead of working them. I propose that you two go climbing, together. Preferably to some place likely to involve lots of tent time, like southeast Alaska. Your combined energies will result in some huge sends and you'll solve the worlds problems at the same time! While we're at it, how about some other therapeutic partnerships: -Prole/Fairweather -Choada Boy/Raindawg who else?
  10. I noticed that the GOP/Teabagger response has a common element that even I agree with in principle, which is "actions speak louder than words", to quote several of them. Which I should take to mean that they actually support what Obama proposed tonight? Which means their daily opposition to everything he is trying is simply obstruction for obstruction's sake and a game of point-scoring? Good thing they are working for the American people's interest!
  11. Pretty lame, kevbone. While I generally don't hold a strong stand on stylistic ethics, when it comes to wilderness areas and impacts- and particularly things that get the USFS' or NPS' attention, I care very much. The way this route was put up turned some heads in the US government. Climbers doing things that could potentially have adverse affects on access for all of us is something you ought to care about. The fact that you enjoyed yourself on this route matters for shit measured against the bigger picture.

Peter, do you have any poll data showing a correlation between Obama haters and people who like Infinite Bliss? And JayB do you have some pie charts of cost-benefit analysis for chopping vs. not chopping depending on whether one receives social services benefits?

Obama wouldn't clip the bolts on Infinite Bliss, while I bet neocons would be A-zeroing all the way up the route. I'd like to see Rush Limbaugh haul his fat ass up there.
  14. if you mean that people who are against corporate monarchy owning our entire political establishment, then yes I agree completely. The opposition to this has most certainly been rendered irrelevant.
  15. Thanks. You must understand, getting old is tough! I'm trying to cut down on the donuts but riding around with cops all day, WTF? It's not easy! Thankfully, I'm in more of a tactical support role and I let the other guys do most of the physical stuff.
  16. I was just thinking, noggin's post implies that Obama will eventually get around to fixing everything...after the last year and especially recent events, anyone who expects anything positive from this corporate tool at this point is deluding themselves. Of course, Peter Puget et. al. will assume that means we're all ready to hand the reigns to Mooseburgers and Rush.
  17. What, no Peter Puget poll results showing how 100% of Glenn Beck listeners say this was justified to stop the spread of communism?
  18. Link Trying to wiretap a senator's office. Strangely, the teabag talk radio goons didn't say a word about this. They're probably having an emergency meeting right now so they can all spin it the same way tomorrow: "living in tyranny justifies any means of defense of FREEDOM, blah blah blah!"
  19. If this happens here, I do hope you will support our troops!

Or what about Passion of the Christ, with that ending where the main character apparently comes back from the dead and it turns out he really was a messiah! I mean, who would ever believe such a story?!?
  21. Wow, KK cheering on the Democrats!?! Next thing you know, Fairweather is going to agree on something with Prole and j_b. OMG!
  22. but not against hyperbole...

If they're busy fucking with each other, they won't have time to fuck with us. Gridlock = I'm worried less about the politicians and more about who owns them. And by it way- it ain't us!
  25. How bout legalizing pot and using the money to fund free health care for everyone? That would be a slam dunk!
