Putting her on the ticket would defeat the purpose many had for voting for him in the first place. If she is in the race in any capacity, McCain will win. But realistically, if an Obama-HRC ticket wins, Obama will get not one but two co-presidents (her husband being the other). He knows it and therefore won't offer her the VP slot.
