  3. Oh I just meant I would think a jumpstart would get that thing going to avoid the tow if it wasn't fuel injected. But montana cold can be a good motivator just to get the hell outta dodge.
  4. clearly you fractured a rib while sleeping
  5. it's like a goddamn wfr recert in here ugh
  6. holy shit the general has a lot of spancers on the tailgate towing because of a bad alternator? wtf I am 100% with you on the toyota truck. even the gentrified tacoma is quite reliable. and they just look damn cool

  9. bwah that's the shit right there. the best part is he always has a full-size spare.
  10. I have found with a 4x4 truck I still get stuck, I just get more stuck farther in. That said there are definitely trips that simply would not have happened w/o the abilities of that vehicle. I've found it is important to have two vehicles going into these places, so one can "test the waters" and be towed out if need be. Trucks are great, but they just aren't made for driving on the freeway! I am surprised to hear about the volkswagen diesel situation. I've seen tons of them on the road. It's too bad they don't offer their 4-motion w/ TDI.

  13. Don't get electronic ANYTHING with ANY volkswagon. Not even windows. If you ski at all I strongly discourage the 2x4 pickup. If I bought a new car today it would be a diesel. You don't need 4x4 often, but when you do, you are damn happy to have it. If you do have 4x4 it will be YOUR rig that gets taken to Canada to get thrashed in the Ghost/Waiparous/decommissioned logging road/ice-covered creek/etc/etc I recommend a minivan.
  14. I'm here to post to this important thread.
  15. this is all bullshit unless you straightline glissaded it switch to the road. and he said he climbed the west ridge, so why would his take on windshirts be of any value without at least some gear shop experience???
  16. KAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHNNNNNN!
  17. http://www.transformersmovie.com/ Preparing to have my childhood memories crushed.
  18. why not just hit your head against some meteorite on display somewhere. the odds of being hit twice by a meteorite are exceedingly poor. once again the commander provides advice for healthy living.
  19. Yeah I would be annoyed if I was passed by a guided group on that route too. I certainly wouldn't admit that on a public forum though.
  20. I believe you're referring to the baroness. Exceedingly high maintenance.
  21. yeah I am curious as to what ivan is talking about. I mean hookers and blow are already totally available at rocky butte.
  22. Why would the jury be holding its breath? Don't juries make the decisions? That comment is way out in left park.
  23. How inconsiderate! They should have been thinking about those who would be climbing directly underneath them regardless of the amount of crap coming down, and levitate to the summit.
  24. Duh. Alpine stuff or Water Ice? ooohhhh well in that case I recommend ice tools
