  1. Here you go! http://www.uac.pdx.edu/
  2. Here is a great site for weather. There will be some new snow up there and in those gullies, which ever one you choose, it might be problematic. Keep that in mind. Whatever you end up doing, have fun!
  3. We're you the cats that "registered" with a copy of this and this from summitpost? I saw those in the OutClimbing slot and thought, very original. Great job in making it!
  4. Yeah, very windy. But once it dies down it could be pretty good. Skis or snowshoes would be a good idea.
  5. The winds were really strong last night. I started out on skins and the snow went from hard ice to hard-breakable crust. It would have been workable but that combined with the wind made it absolutely ridiculous. There were several times where I was having trouble staying up on the skis, with a pack and having the snow consistency change under my feet. 28 degrees at Timberline with what I guess were 35 mph sustained winds...it just wasn't any fun. Once the wind mellows later today it might be pretty good up there. I may head back up there either tonight or sometime this weekend. The sight of the white mountain under clear skies and an almost full moon were incredible.
  6. I'll let you know when I get back tomorrow morning.
  7. Wow...very tasty...thanks Iain. If things go as planned I'll definitely be up there this week. Sunday is a full moon so any night climbing between now and when this weather window ends should be especially sweet.
  8. Sold! Thanks Arc.
  9. I get it. Thanks
  10. So, what about the nice tread and slight heel that exists on the Verticals? Do the new liners have some sort of tread and heel on the bottom? It's hard to tell by the picture. Thanks
  11. I didn't want to highjack Avitripp's thread, so I'll ask it here. Like Tomtom, I have some Verticals as well. Do you replace the existing liners with the Intuition ones or do they somehow work in conjunction with them? This maybe a stupid question, but I like the way the current liner's sole is, but I wouldn't mind a little better fit. How does this work?
  12. Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to put in the extra work. It looks great.
  13. One day into the job and it looks like he's already following his marching orders! Whoa! Wait a minute! No, he's actually interpreting the constitution based on the facts of the case!?!? WTF?
  14. As many know, this is a great guide book for Rainier written by Gator. Make sure you get the second edition, it's even better than the first. Mike, you need to update YOUR website with your new book!
  15. PM sent
  16. That was awesome Timmy! Great work!
  17. Glad this turned out ok. Bad night to be out.
  18. I fondly remember 60+mph on a pair of 220 Atomics back in the day. Figure 11s, that's all they were good for.
  19. The ledges look sweet too. Thanks Mike!
  20. I got the 100' of black 1" but I may not be able to make the Madrone deal tonight. John, I'll PM you and find a way to get it to you.
  21. ...and make sure you are very drunk on fortified wine.
