  1. Good point CP, and for the people with really extreme circumstances, you may have Raynauds Disease (Phenom.) , for which there are some very effective treatments.
  2. If you need motivation to ride for your commute. Might I suggest this on the weekends to help widen your perspective: PXQMw4n29qU It's cross season. And this weekend's course at Barlow was the hardest...and the best, EVAR!
  3. I'm going to try this. I'll report back.
  4. Great times! Good brew for sure. The slide show was awesome. And the trout at the Doug Fir was amazing! (not too salty either )
  5. If you have the Sarkens and are interested in ignoring the recall then you could do that. As far as I can tell Petzl has stopped making them. If you have them, you can trade them in for a brand new pair of any Petzl crampons. Which I just learned is a great dealio.
  6. Cirosis rules!
  7. I second the Closer suggestion. There's also a new one by Kanye West called "Stronger". It has a good beginning and a good beat, but the overall lyrics are kind of rough around the edges.

  13. There are definitely some bad-ass gals that race. At Estacada in 2006, the steep and muddy off-camber hill (in the video above) was especially brutal to the ladies. No matter how careful they were coming down it, most of them fell...and fell hard. We were standing near where the worst section was and when they fell they hit so hard the ground shook. To add insult to injury, the crowd at the bottom would hold up signs rating their falls. If they crashed near them they'd get showered in beer. Had kind of a gladiator feel to it with all the jeering and cat calls. Outrageous!
  14. It's the best workout (aside from perhaps a good crossfit workout) you'll get in 45-60 minutes. Cycling, running, getting the hell beat out of you...it has everything!
  15. Nice job Squash. I thought the intro was good except for the left hand turning the ignition. Seemed...unnatural.
  16. There's alwasy PLENTY of good beer. Perfect for Sunday mornings! 0dyFeLarkJ4

    The War

In keeping with the spirit here. I love you Eric. I watched the second installment tonight. Again, an incredible story. To head into a fight, where the vast majority of your buddies have been killed in previous, similar fights, and have the courage to pull it off, is truly amazing. A feat I'm certain I would have trouble accomplishing. Let me also add, the Norah Jones song, American Anthem is a truly beautiful piece of work. They played it at the end of the first episode, but you should find and listen to the words. They're perfect.
  25. It's unfortunate that it takes a tragedy such as this to remind us that there are a lot of people that truly love, care and most importantly, depend on us. Otto's wife and family have a loss in their lives that rivals none other. Pray for these people. And please be careful out there.
