  1. Oly, who owns more 20-sided dice - you or Dru?
  2. reasonable belief you were in imminent danger of bodily harm
  3. Of course if the perpetrator is dead, they can't exactly testify that they weren't trying to attack you when you wolluped them in the head with that minature baseball bat you got at Mariner's Kid's Night at the King Dome that night Harold Reynold's hit a grand slam against the Brewer's.
  4. You can use force to defend your property but only enough force than is reasonable to do so, and you can never use deadly force to defend just property. So, essentially, if you caught someone in the act you could go up to them and pry the plants from their hands but you couldn't beat them to a bloody pulp with the adze of your black prophet - unfortunately.
  5. Ranger can't ticket someone's CAR for not having an overnight permit, they have to ticket the person. There's no way to know if someone is parked at Mtneer's TH if you are even camping in the permit zone or not. I hope this hasn't actually happened to you or anyone you know. I've never heard of this happening. and you can contest these tickets through the AG's in Yakima. I've talked to them on the phone before and they're pretty cool.
  6. Apparently, these days, there aren't any.
  7. As if Dru is that clever. As if.
  8. That's horseshit. Its not like permit requirements are ever effectively enforced. One day pushes are just so you can get back to the pub quicker.
  9. Donny bring your sister I hear she's hot in a trashy sort of way and puts out for dirtbags like me.
  10. You got a permit for that ugly mullet, hippy?
  11. February is a better time to find ice climbs in the Cascades. Though, May and June can be good for some moderate colior climbing like Triple C's, which sounds like a good route for your considerations.
  12. I wonder how many times rangers in norther Idaho see homemade parking permits stating that the vehicle owner has direct authority from God or the Constitution or something to park wherever the FUCK they want.
  13. Snow will be firmer and safer in the early morning hours before the sun hits it and warms it up. With freezing levels that high expect the snow to soften up quick. On a side note, the Kautz as most routes on Rainier, aren't really ice routes, but snow or steep snow hikes.
  14. Tuff Love has always been in October. either the first or second weekend. don't harsh my mellow dude Why should we go out of our way to accommodate one person that only climbs a few time a year? you can go to smith any time you like. but it is not love fest uless Timm@y says it is love fest you retarted little ass hat. until this season i put more hours on the rock than "just a few times a year" you just made my shit list Bwaha. thats funny.
  15. Whenever Polish Bob catches a mountain goat

    The strategy is?

No, we just "accidently" target them. It plays better with the press.
  17. This actually happened, BTW.
  18. It is the quintissential cc.com version of tastes great less filling.
  19. I've heard it gets bad in late late season like late August or September. I've descended it in mid July before in an average snow year and it had a long way to go before it got too sketchy.
  20. Direct, OK, but still long. Have to cross that big talus field and down Goat Pass and over to Stuar Lake or north side moraine. Its straight and direct to descend the Sherpa, IMO.
  21. I've taken some pics but only with a telescopic lens from more than 500 feet away. Can't violate the restraining order, ya know.
  22. Yeah I know i lived there for 6 years. Just trying to help, don't want to see you lugging around some 10-15 in the summer like some gaper mountie.
  23. there was a slideshow?
  24. News Flash: Light and Fast is not always comfortable. Colder temps not mitigated by your sleeping bag should be addressed by wearing more clothes, such as a belay jacket; or by bringing a lightweight tent, which often makes sense in the Cascades anyway due to bug issues. If you are winter camping in Montana I can see needing a bag that warm, maybe.
  25. Seems like a lot more walking then necessary to get on the route. Besides descending the Cascadian sucks as does hiking UP to Long's pass after at the end of a full day. Easier to just carry a few more ounces and take some l/w poons. Descent off West Ridge makes some sense, but its not very direct back to the north side once you get down.
