  1. I had something smart and witty to say, but I got distracted and forgot.
  2. I hear Chuck Norris uses sandpaper. And likes it.
  3. But I was wearing a super-teched out windshirt, so I looked cool the whole time.
  4. BWAHA. Rat has ONE pair of Rages and probably climbs ten times harder than you.
  5. You can buy all the tools in the world, and still be a tool.
  6. Or the twenty sided dice
  7. Skinning up a resort unless you're trying to poach or something is gay. Why don't you take her up some easy backcountry slopes and get away from all the gapers at the area.
  8. Nope. It makes you look fat.
  9. A few routes are in the Cramer guide, but I know more have been established. I think Eric Hirst has done a fair amount of development there. I'm sure all the obvious natural lines have been done.
  10. North, across from the burger joint. There's boulders recently unearthed by a clearcut and a crag above them.
  11. Whatever happened to ski ballet? It think this sport is rad.
  12. Zeke's ??
  13. Bring a snowmobile. In the winter, access is difficult. Like the Cascades but worse, because no high passes. Lolo is the only decent access and the only thing you can easily acess is this pinner peak called Mt. Fuji. Some good turns there if the snow is good, but nothing majorly inspiring. Best skiing if the snow is good is Montana Snowbowl north of Missouls. Cheap tickets, long and steep runs, good backcountry access, and a great bar. Great spring skiing in the B-roots 'cause access improves and there are good roads that go up real high.
  14. This picture just says it all:
  15. You should get into porn. Its much easier and much more lucrative.

    drink up, pussy.
  17. Being committed like that is pretty scary. The story of Donini and Tackle's ascent of the Diamond Face on the east side of Hunter is pretty rad too. They had to make the climb, summit, and come down the west ridge in order to get off the peak.
  18. Yeah I remember reading about the Athens / Randall ascent. That ridge LOOKS fucking gnarly, inconsistent, annoying, and long. Waterman is a pretty interesting story. He was definitly cookoo.
  19. Check at the Gucci outlet in Dillon. Might get a DAS for a good deal. It might be blaze orange or some shit, though.
  20. That sounds right. But I think the route Athens and Randall did is different than the Waterman route. I may be wrong. Hunter is featured in Alpinist IX. I should check.

Those jeans make you look fat too.
  22. That's the South Ridge or something. You mean the one Waterman soloed over the course of 3 mos. or so right?
  23. SW Ridge is a classic-stlye Alaska ridge climb. Not super technical except for the one steep headwall. But it was remote and doesn't get done very often. Reichert thought no one had climbed it for 15 years or something. Long approach from basecamp too. Good introduction to Alaska alpinism, however.
  24. Just got back from the icefields myself. Avy conditions were off the hook after funky weather conditions, including RAIN up to 6000 ft. Trying to climb Andromeda then (or now) is FUCKING STUPID.
  25. Is that why he's so good at Atari?
