I spotted it from FS road 44 this last weekend and saw the ericamos looking quite fat. However, it also looked quite white, indicating that it is super dehydrated. When I was up there around March 20th with wayane and colin the spider was not climbable for us. I would assume that given how sunny it has been on hood the last few weeeks I doubt it has gotten any better. Considering that it faces east it gets slammed by the sun. the nf gullies looked good to go though Bryan Schmitz

Road is blocked by snow in several parts but you can get within a 25 minutes walk. Temps were great but if you wanna drive to the point you are going to have to wait a few weeks for the road to finish melting out. Bryan

I would be game for going elsewhere, but am stoked about climbing and camping out here this weekend. Anyone wanna go? Bryan Schmitz

Second that, most of my weekend are pretty full for the next couple of weeks so I have some gear I could loan while you wait for your insurance pay day. I hope you had renters insurance that covers theft from your car. Bryan

I recommend trying o buy a used pair. I have the heel locks as I hated those sidelocks from the start. If you find a used pair of sarkans or dart twins I would think that the heel piece from just about any petzl crampon would work.

Excuses...... getting laid is always and appropriate excuse -
Its been warm, I doubt it is still in that condition but I do know the Harro's were out there a few weeks ago and there was ice still climbable. I would think that something is still climbable there. Adrenalpherine takes the right hanger. The left hanger has not been climbed to my knowledge. Hate Pony climbs the ice ramp under the left hanger and take a thin sheet of ice to climbers left of the left hanger. Or at least that is my understanding, maybe johnny boy can clarify. -Bryan
