  1. Mr. C. We were up there on Sunday-Mon. We took the direct route up through the crevasse fields and was icy and fun and most could be jumped over. The upper scrund was easily passed to the right. It was clear and visibility was great so made route finding easy. It is a beautiful place to be for sure.
  2. Doc Holliday: "Why Johny Ringo, You aint no daisy, you aint no daisy at all" Johny Ringo: "ughhh, cough, wheeze.....thud"
  3. RM. screw you. You sound like a complete ass ranting about non emergency use of a cell phone while bragging that you were on Denali talking about your phone call at 11K and not getting a job. How is that better than someone talking on the summit of Hood in your opinion? Let us all hear your grand reasoning you bitch.
  4. I did try to make a call out while at 11k on Denali to tell a guy I wanted to accept a job so they didn't give it away, but since I got very little reception, they gave the job away.......Dannible, what emergency did you have on Black peak?3) if you are so insecure that you need to receive kudos from people who know nothing about climbing so that you can make yourself feeol better, go get help, don't ruin my experience on the summit......... It sounds like that was a great emergency you had on Denali there. I wonder why you didn't get the job. Maybe it was not the reception but rather your asshole attitude.
  5. I am taking my father up tomyhoi this weekend to celebrate his 70th birthday I was wondering if crampons and axes are needed for the short glacier section. I have read that it is pretty flat but also have read that some have turned around because of icy conditions. Just trying to keep the load down as light as possible. If anybody has any recent data it would be appreciated. thanks.
  6. Smoot's book reccomends double ropes for the descent. Has anybody done it with one rope? Would you take one or two ropes. thanks
  7. It is clearly not on the package insert of course... but I have been informed that this class of drugs would work for clitoral engorgement for women suffering from lack of it and may increase there sensual pleasure. There you go minx!
  8. shit mike, I hate the way you are feeling now. sounds like you are feeling pretty down. I am sure an adjustment of your spine would fix all that. Isn't that your line?

    Bee problem

Billcoe, I dont't honestly know. Watch it being done. It is impressive to see from what I've heard. If they are in a swarm, the beekeper can put them in a box as really they are looking for a dark place to go to make a nest. If they are already established in a hard place to get to, I am not sure how they do it. Maybe lure the bees with queen fermones or something. Just pondering.... It is a hobby that one is always learning new things. This year I have about 80lbs of honey off of two hives. Most of that nectar flow has come in last 2 weeks during the himalayan blackberry bloom. pretty cool stuff.

    Bee problem

I have some honey bee hives myself. This is only my second year in it but I can tell you to stop killing them. There is a better way. There are many experienced apiarists that will come in and take that swarm away and probably not need to harm it. Many of them do it for free. The bees are valuable to them. Honey bees face enough problems from natural problems like mites and viruses attacking them. Please be kind to bees. They are fasinating creatures with an added addition to our environment. Jeff
  12. NTC, It sounds like you have dealt with allot of knuckleheads as a cop and therefore are very used to arguing and defending your position. Don't be too suspicious of your fellow man. not everyone is a criminal.
  13. The performance by Val Kilmer in Tombstome is classic sheet...
  14. I am heading into Black tomorrow and next day. I am wondering if anybody has been back there of late. Is Wing lake melted out? I doubt it. Is there any running water that I can expect or will I have to melt all water. thanks.

  18. Toast, do you still have that pain? do you have a hsx of acid reflux or ulcers? sometimes people can develop a hiatal hernia that can create pain similar to what you describe. look that up on emedicine.com and review. If pain continues you should have it checked out at your doctor. take some mylanta or tumms and see if it improves.
  19. This is the funniest shit I have read in weeks. I started laughing so hard and long that I nearly spit up my lunch and I was crying and wheezing afterwards. Is this DB charachter real? I hope so, he is so fresh.

  21. Why don't you try Thermogenesis and just make sure you take it nice and slow with lots of rest breaks.
  22. Yeah, I guess I am pretty far off. I remember studying that and it seemed like Greek.
  23. Nice try guys. A nice trip report too. I read it and it sounds like an english teacher. Am I too far off? I was thwarted 3 years ago in the same area. My partner's calves were cramping up and we decided to turn around just a few hundred feet from the top. We did that climb in March when there was still allot of snow. I saw more incredible avalanche debris on that slope than I have seen anywhere. Looking at those photos makes me want to get back there and finish up some business. thanks for the tr.
  24. check your pms. I will take all the food.
