  1. Yeah like Lost In Space? Warning Will Robinson!!! Lost in Space
  2. Anyone else participating in the 2007 Group Health Commute Challenge ? http://www.cbcef.org/contest/btw_report_tripsdaysmiles.cfm?contest=8&teamtype=grponly&rsort=7&session=8%3E%2D%21P%2CF%5DKVI%24%3CWE%2A%260KY86%26%3F%27%5F%2DEX4CT3%7E%7E%21%7E%7E Cool idea, and a lot of fun...
  3. that may well be, but that does not dis prove that humans are part of nature. I'll bet someone could get funding to try to disprove this though... Well, yeah. I mean, nature is dirt and stuff, whereas we're all made in God's image. Ergo, God is a Bellevue housewife on a taun taun with an urgent breast implant appointment. It makes sense, right? I think about this kind of stuff a lot. I've been in Bellevue quite often, and am wondering where you see all these Hausfrauen with fake titties. Of course I lived in SoCal for 5 years, so maybe that's dulled my senses.
  4. that's a theory; not a fact.
  5. But of course... say plus or minus a few millenia.
  6. Yes, we are due for an ice age, and it may still happen irrespective of CO2 emissions. Making an unqualified statement that the former would have occurred already due to the latter as if it were an incontrovertible fact is simply an arrogant and assinine statement - typical of our local Besserwisser.
  7. once again the self-professed "expert" on all matters speaks definitively
  8. Thanks Mike - your web site ROCKS!
  9. Is it necessary to make reservations for any of the routes *other than* those from Muir/Shurman? I'm considering a run up Fuhrer Finger in June and wonder if it is worth the cash and trouble to reserve some spots.
  10. ...by someone other than me. Hows the recruitment process going, KKK? There's still time to do your part in all this evil but 'necessary' warfare. FOAD, Trashie. Go troll somewhere else
  11. wang dang sweet poontang
  12. people
  13. That's nice, but try that at one of the many supercomputer sites in the world and you'll be out on the street before you can realize what happened. That is, if they don't burn you as an example to the others first. rm -rf /*.f
  14. to avoid facing any kind of truth other than the one they are spoon fed by thier peers, media and society. critical thinking is a thing of the past.
  15. SED? WTF? Talk about retro-technology. :-O
  16. nope. what I'm saying is as usual things are done in the wrong order. when the money and will runs out on this project, the "extension" may never happen. then we'll have a line serving commuting needs in a suboptimal manner. in the interim those commuting the I5 corridor from Seattle north suffer w/o relief, and possible indefinitely
  17. Nope. They should build the rail where it's needed most first.
  18. It's got nothing to do with MY commute. I don't do the I-5 corridor anymore. Tens of thousands of people DO - roughly 200 trips to Seattle a year per commuter. And how many to SeaTac a year. Shit, I make maybe 3-4 trips a year to the airport, rarely during "rush hour" and most people are like me - not business travellers. A "start"? Sounds like stupid planning as usual - and misplaced priorities.
  19. Yeah! Let's build a monorail! People have screamed for public transport for the 15 years I've lived here and we've paid millions and gotten squat. Your big gov't at work - sans results. As usual. Uhm...last time I checked light rail was on schedule and on budget. Haven't driven past the airport lately, uh? like I said - we haven't gotten squat. light rail to the airport is a useless joke.
  20. Which is exactly what you'd get with nationalized health care. Oh the irony of inconsistent positions.
  21. Having commuted the I-5 from S. Everett to downtown in the past, this is totally obvious. Next lines would need to go between Belleuve and Bothell along the I-405, and of course the 520. I don't care how much these lines would cost, they should just be done and get started now.
  22. Yeah! Let's build a monorail! People have screamed for public transport for the 15 years I've lived here and we've paid millions and gotten squat. Your big gov't at work - sans results. As usual.
  23. he will kill the puppy. bad idea i think so too but thats kinda the point not that i would want a puppy to die, but i in my profassional oppinion feel that what Kevbone needs is a really good look at his authentic self. what he needs to ask himself is if he is projecting to others the person he believes himself to be? i think he is not, and i think that he needs to learn a lesson about the dynamic of the group and how to comunicate well with others. in the interim, while this experiment would take place, we would all suffer. maybe he can be a moderator on ass.com instead...
