I can't remeber who said that it's lighter to carry memorized map than an actual map...but the same thing could apply. it's lighter to carry good climbing skill and nerve than to carry a bunch of metal.

I can bring my laptop (it's really fast ). if people have photos, they can either bring their photos on a cd or a flash memory card that uses usb port. you could store photos on iPods as well.

If you happen to stay at Rampart hostel, can you see if there is a brand new (probably not now) Jo Jo's ice guide (second edition)? I lost my at that hostel back in the New Year. You might even find an original receipt in the back. Thanks a lot!

anyone got a projector for digital photos? I remember that was an issue with a lot of people last year. Lots of digital photos but no digital projector.
