I only see a few trip reports, what do you all do this weekend? Unless you want to hear about the Woodland Park Zoo (the Gorillas really put on a great gross out session), I have nothing to report. I will for the next two weekends, though! Lets hear some TRs (in the Route Report section).

I wouldn't get to excited about this. Where is the data coming from that says the Palestinians are ready to ditch Hamas and do what ever Isreal tells them to do? The Middle East has demonstrated for thousands of years that people raised amid violence have no problems with continuing the cycle. And it only takes a couple of hardliners to perpetuate it.

If he was such a pro bike messenger kewl dude that he should have been in better control. If he cut you off, he was wrong according to my code of the street. I remember when I almost crashed into my older brother when I was about 10 and he was 14. (he was riding a motorcycle, and I was riding a bicycle). It was a similiar situation to what you describe, and I immediately said to him "You're lucky I'm such a good rider or we both could be hurt!" He got pissed and beat the crap out of me...

Yea, the trailhead is at the 8 mile post. The snow on the road all the way to the trailhead isn't going to melt out *really* soon as it is at least a couple feet deep of compressed snow/ice in parts. It will probably be clear all the way up in a month unless they plow it before that.
