I downloaded an episode and found it to be a mind numbingly stupid waste of time that resulted in the loss of 10 minutes on the bus which I would have rather spent been listening to the sounds of animal torture or Kenny G. It was some pandering review of chalkbags and bouldering pads that was obviously influenced by the company "donating" free equipment to the show. It still gets downloaded to my computer, and I saw on there that they get some interesting guests, so I think about giving it another try...but then I remember that first excruciating experience.

yes, but an open loft gives you a better feeling of open space. and besides, that isn't much square footage to heat anyway.

the size/type of snowshoe you really need depends on the snow conditions. for $150, I think that the plastic MSRs are good...if you can spring for more then those new "Lightening" MSR snow shoes are about a pound lighter.
