I once had an autographed picture of Steve House and I arm wrestling....but it flew out of my car when I was driving home from the picnic.

The brief day drew to a close in a long, slow twilight. There were no signs of a fire to be made, and, besides, never in the fat kid's experience had it known a man to sit like that in the snow and make no fire. As the twilight drew on, its eager yearning for the fire mastered it, and with a great lifting and shifting of forefeet, it whined softly, then flattened its ears down in anticipation of being chidden by the man. But the man remained silent. Later, the fat kid whined loudly. And still later it crept close to the man and caught the scent of death. This made the fat kid bristle and back away. A little longer it delayed, howling under the stars that leaped and danced and shone brightly in the cold sky. Then it turned and trotted up the trail in the direction of the camp it knew, where were the other food-providers and fire-providers.

Right. So the fat kid can pull you down a crevasse when he crashes thru a snowbridge diving for the krispy creme he dropped. at least you will have a nice cushion to land on! and you know that the fat kid will get wedged between the walls of the crevase before you will so you should have plenty to room to climb out! like a human chock stone

ahhhh....the middle ages. those were the good old days.

stupidity can really improve as it ages, if you keep in the cellar away from the sunlight i have my own boating stupidity involving capasizing a kayak loaded with camping gear in a storm in the middle of lake ozette in the winter. passed out while hanging on with one arm linked into the half submerged kayak, and when i came to, the wind had blown me into shore. got out my drenched sleeping bag, ate two snickers, and went back to sleep.
