[video:youtube]OGhsbRb_pqE WHEN AN ANGRY GORILLA CRIES!

i've always differentiated between the "dirtbags" who choose that lifestyle by choice, and the "dirtbags" who live in situations they feel they did not choose/actually didn't choose.

I didn't read what is on rockclimbing.com, but can someone explain to me (kevbone) how this is rope failure? isn't the rope supposed to be "cuttable"? it fell on a sharp thing? did it snap? or was it cut? details...

I've seen a thread where this picture set was discussed before. Those are cool pictures!

what about after you join the force? how many illegal uses do you get then? and then, after you quit, do you get extra for serving? how many do renta-cops get? to be honest, there should be zero policy. one strike you're out. if you even consider it, you are banned from public service. In fact, pack your bags and move to Canada. We aren't having you.

Hopefully you've only used illegal drugs 24 times in the past 10 years and not 26. but i'm wondering...does using them on two particular times on the same night count as separate instances? or as as single instance? what happens on the 26th time that causes the disqualification?

http://blog.seattlepi.com/seattle911/archives/173642.asp Q: I think I would be a good cop. But I've smoked pot. Will I be disqualified if I apply in Seattle? A: Each applicant is reviewed individually. But here are some of the selection standards set by Seattle police: # Applicants must have not used marijuana in the past three years. # Applicants must have not used marijuana more than 25 times in the past 10 years. # Applicants must have not used four or more controlled substances in the past ten years. # Applicants must have not used any illegal drugs or illegally used pharmaceuticals more than 25 times in the past 10 years. # Applicants must have not used any illegal drugs while employed in a criminal justice and/or law enforcement capacity. They also must have not manufactured or cultivated illegal drugs for the purpose of selling or marketing the drugs. Disqualifying offenses include any adult felony conviction and any misdemeanor or felony conviction while employed in a criminal justice or law enforcement capacity. Any domestic violence conviction also disqualify Seattle applicants.

Thats a nice attempt, but if you must know my son is much more insidious. He hasn't yet developed Trask's vocabulary yet, but he has an eight-year old's equivalent.

It is a bit humorous, cut I'm sure Colin was just taking the opportunity of working on his rap skills rather than doing it at UW Rock. Much nicer setting! I once wrote a TR just dedicated to that pass! Who wouldn't rather be on Assguard right now?
-
thats not the best pic of your TR! this off the hook picture by off_the_hook is more outstanding.

This might be a "hiking" subject, but as many of you know, I"m a pass junky. I can't get enough of passes. Just wondering, I have several. Here are a couple "olyclimber" passes: 1. Anderson pass - nice view down the valley 2. Low Divide - just feels like you're close to the middle of the olys

no...most gags or scams have much better spelling Hmm... See, I thought that was the fishy part: psychopathically retarded, illiterate 16 year old comes on and obliviously writes about duct taping feet, then, nearly instantly, slightly less illiterate antagonist figure appears to prophecy against 16 year old and warn the masses. I mean, I know people actually are this stupid in real life (especially 16 year olds), but they can't be serious... So how many 16 year old climbers are you aware of posting on this site? I only know of one who might be close, and that is Marc L, and he's a pretty good climber. As far as your script above, it needs work before Hollywood will be interested, let alone anyone on Broadway.

well there are two things here: 1. Being uneducated and being inexperienced (usually remedied with age) 2. Being a dumbass (there doesn't seem to be a cure for that, regardless of age/experience/education) Of course, when you combine these two items, you usually have a problem you'd rather avoid. So I don't think that the word "mentor" has anything to do with it. There are some really excellent mentors on the site who have helped people learn the basics during the life span of CC.com.

well if you want the best genetics for your little league team, go with a proven winner. Got the Tivo all set up for the contest. Shhhhhhh: Ulee is getting a Nokona mitt and new climbing shoes for his birthday! I'm pretty sure he doesn't post here, so the secret should be safe on here.
