I know it is not about climbing but if you ever get the chance to read 'Antarctica, Both Heaven and Hell' by Reinhold Messner and 'Mind Over Matter' by Ranulph Fiennes it would be worth your time. These guys are really amazing! Fiennes has the record for the longest unsupported journey of 1350 miles across Antarctica which was really more impressive than Messner's same journey.

Just stop buy'n stuff and you won't have that problem.

Gee, That's one of those Tag and Bag peaks! catbirdseat and I did it a few years ago. With that obvious ramp on the southwest side, we didn't even consider climbing it. But know'n catbirdseat, if he had found out a way to climb it, he would have tried to talk me into it.

Elephanthead actually extends off the north ridge of Dome I believe, so you would not see it the way it appears. It would be to the the right and in the distance.

Tupshin's on next year list of climbs to do. Maybe a Martin ridge run north.

Thats what I said after getting the 10D (pentax 35mm though). That lasted about a week. Damn, that Canon 10D was too heavy! I carry my EOS on all my climbs and the Rebel D was about the same weight. I pick up a Canon 20-35mm lens to compensate for the digital camera and it looks great on my EOS 35mm. Wide Angle is nice.

I got the Rebel Digital. I still use my Canon EOS. I took another stab at it and I think they came out good. Take a look on CC.com Events.

Funny Posts People. Yes, my error. I bought a new digital camera and wasn't sure how to upload them correctly. This Canon 6.3 Mega Pixel camera takes great res. pictures but the photos would not upload at 3 Mb a piece. I compressed them but I guess the size of the picture did not change. They looked great before I compressed them. I think I need to get a lesson on doing this or shoot at a lower resolution. If I screwed up on who I thought was there or not there, sorry about that. I can reload them if someone lets me know what to do. I have a few more. Anyways, is Pub Club in Bothell this week?

I posted a few picture from Friday Nights Ropeup under Climbing Pictures. It was nice out in Leavenworth on Friday. The weather was partly cloudy but no rain. A few people were there to party Friday night. To bad Coopah and I had to go back that night. He choose to work Saturday. We did get to climb though. Took a couple of folks up Yellow Jacket Tower.
