  1. Funny Posts People. Yes, my error. I bought a new digital camera and wasn't sure how to upload them correctly. This Canon 6.3 Mega Pixel camera takes great res. pictures but the photos would not upload at 3 Mb a piece. I compressed them but I guess the size of the picture did not change. They looked great before I compressed them. I think I need to get a lesson on doing this or shoot at a lower resolution. If I screwed up on who I thought was there or not there, sorry about that. I can reload them if someone lets me know what to do. I have a few more. Anyways, is Pub Club in Bothell this week?
  2. Fred climbs what he wants to climb and that is all that matters. I think that he is more interested routes than summits.
  3. I posted a few picture from Friday Nights Ropeup under Climbing Pictures. It was nice out in Leavenworth on Friday. The weather was partly cloudy but no rain. A few people were there to party Friday night. To bad Coopah and I had to go back that night. He choose to work Saturday. We did get to climb though. Took a couple of folks up Yellow Jacket Tower. No, we are not guides. Thanks to Beck and all the sponsers, I'm sure they had a good weekend. Beck was no where to be seen when I took the pictures. mattp, uncle tricky, chris_w, chuck, coopah and a few others can be seen. Thank OR for the
  4. Heading out early tomorrow morning (Friday). Hopefully get some climbing in before it rains (or snows) and then 's the rest of the evening.
  5. used biners to latch the chains on a trailer to the hitch on a my truck.
  6. I have yet to give up my 35mm Canon EOS for the mountains but I have been looking for a digital camera for just point and shoot stuff. I was thinking that a 5 megapix camera would be good. Any suggestions? For climbing I only shoot slide film because looking at a scenic picture on a 4x6 print just doesn't cut it. Type of film. Fuji is good for your blues and greens where as Kodak is good for reds and oranges. Depends on what you want.
  7. joshk, I've done a lot of chest beating trips in my days. I think your just a little jealous that I think of all the good ones. If only you could think of a few yourself, then I could sit back and bad mouth yours. BTW, Did you know that the person that has the record for the fastest time climbing all the state high points used a car and a airplane. Think about that! Nice work cluck!
  8. Are you that interested? Mt. Angeles Pinnacle Peak Hidden Lakes Not in that order.

  11. Oly - no RNP- Got one right NCNP - no On the TT we did not include Deman because it was not much to do so we did the 9 from Eagle to Unicorn. I'm sure the whole Traverse could be done in 24 hours.
  12. I'll strangle along if you guys need help finding the route.
  13. We should call you Orchidman. It takes at least an hour to tour catbirdseats yard and greenhouse. He has all kinds of plants in his front and back yard. No happy grass as far as I know? I have tulips in the spring so that is when my gardens look good.
  14. what about the highest peak in each park? done that one? i hear an epic push calling.... We decided that the peaks had to be at least over 6000 ft. The gain needed to be at least 2000 ft. Can you name them?
  15. Hey, that would be me. We did the 9 because of the date in 18 hours. It was a good pace but not to fast. Try 1 peak in each National Park in the State of Washington in 18 hours. The same 3 of us did that in 1998.

  21. Thanks Catbirdseat, that really helped. We better stop this. You guy might put me to the test. Seriously, learning to climb without shoes is a good thing, not that shoes are a bad thing. That is just how I work.
  22. So you aren't climbing hard, eh? 5.9 trad in Boots. Well I do take me shoes to Exit 38, but that doesn't count for us alpine climbers. What 5.9? I wanna see someone climb the Gendarme on Stuart in boots. If you do I'll buy you a beer. Catbirdseat can cover me on that one.... I hope. I don't like the shoes and I never bring them with me. I have learn to climb without them. Great for gym and sport climbing but that is about it.
