  1. IMO, for indoor climbing, the softer the edges on the holds the more tendon-friendly they are, as well. Real-rock holds tend to have sharper edges than most of the excellent line of artificial holds that Franklin, Pusher or Nicros puts out.
  2. From another 40+ climber. I have found that staying limber has become increasingly challenging, and regular stretching does wonders. Limber or brittle seem to be the choices.

  6. I lik how they have a "Beer Gut Cut" option on the kilt fitting. I guess that replaces the "dress to the left or the right?" option.

  8. A KILT IS NOT A SKIRT... ask any scotish man Yes it is. Ask any straight man. That silk number you have though, Scott. That's a real dress. I don't think you look at all swish in it.

  11. What about just cutting the old webbing off and redoing it with webbing and waterknot. Old Skool.
  12. I just redid the trigger wires on a larger Metolius. I went to Tacoma Screw, got good cable cutters, cable, swages and a swaging tool. It was about $60 for the whole thing. It was a little tricky, but the wire and swages are pretty cheap, and I got it on the third try. They work great! Wouldn't some sewing services have a bar-tacker? Conceivably, you could provide materials and specs...

  14. Ever wonder about the webbing on your cams after 9 or 10 years? Probably time to stop bustin' out the lighter to trim the fray , and start finding out about webbing replacement. Any Bartackers out there? Mr.E
