Jon, though people may whine, this site is a very valuable resource for route conditions, photos, gear, etc. Just because spray gets so much attention doesn't mean that it is the only part of the site. Spray if entertainment, and rarely are people truly offended by jerk-knee responses that are obviously juvenile and not serious. When I am going to buy a new piece of gear, I typically search for a topic on it in the Gear Critic. If I'm off to do a big route, I'll search for description in the route reports. This site is perfect for that. And since the spray attracts so many people we have a large base of posters who (ok, most of them) contribute to helpful Beta. Thanks.
