Hit an elk while driving to ski S. Sister last spring. Totaled the car. We skied the moutain, and managed to drive back to Springfield. The next day the car barely made it to a junkyard (20min drive). The really funny part was when some guy started honking frantically when he saw our car. Like we hadn't noticed the damage.

It took you several weeks to figure that out?

I've used a Bod for five years. Sport, trad, alpine, glacier walking, etc. A great all-around harness. Maybe not quite as comfy as others, but claiming that it makes hanging belays and the like miserable is not true. And my 'boys' have never been squashed. YMMV.

So this one time, I was like climbing, and stuff, and my bro's all like "dude, let's go climb that!" and he sets up a TR and we climb and like lower off and then I notice he like set the TR up with the rope going over a rap sling and stuff! And I'm like "Dude, we're gonna DIE!" It was like extream and like stuff, you know?

I think they're trying to make the general public feel fat so they get off their asses and do something! Which is good. Focusing on how hard you climb is better than focusing on wether you're 'fat' or not. How hard you climb, after all, is what really counts, right?

But Scott, the concept of Grace was originally that God chooses beforehand who will be saved and who will not. BUT, if you displease Him, He might change his mind, and put you on the 'not saved' list. Likewise, if you were originally not on the list, and lead your life to please God, He might reconsider and save you after all. So I've got two questions: 1. Why are you so sure you'll be saved though you sin, and 2. Being less bad is better than being more bad. Lest God take you off the saved list, shouldn't try to please Him?

You go BC in T-Races? Your last name Gronvold? Or do you just have a serious tolerance for pain? As for the majority of telemark skiiers - you talking about the telemarktips crowd? From what I can tell, a majority of them ski more at resorts than BC. Agressiveness is in your head, not whats on your feet. Why would big boots in the bc mean you have a high pain tolerace? Most people I know ski big boots everywhere.
