  1. You need the url of the photo, not the page. Right click on the pic, choose properties. Use url that ends in jpg.
  2. FUCK! I might just end up doing the Coleman-Deming for the third consecutive time. I'm such a gaper. Fucking weather.
  3. Allison, I thought you're using Opera? Turn off the images.
  4. I think it's funny how Justin is suggesting carpooling when he's the one who keeps driving his unemployed ass down I5 ALONE to go board St. Helens for the twentieth time this year. As for even less attractive blonde pop stars, how about Britney? Oh, and 30 year old yuppie women driving their H2s around downtown Bellevue should be jailed.
  5. Oh, the Park Glacier proper is also fun, we got to 9k or so last August before getting boxed in by crevasses. The approach hike is a bitch coming out. TR on my site. The Boulder would be cool, but the B-P Cleaver is a more obvious line, IMHO, and it avoids the crevasse danger up to 9k.
  6. I skied the B-P Cleaver to Boulder HW in April. We didn't climb the Park HW because we didn't want to ski it. The approach is casual, an hour's hike through flat forest, then you go up until you hit the ridge coming down off the cleaver. The cleaver is spectacular, very pretty side of the mountain. At the top of the cleaver, the HW is dead ahead, either climb that, or contour climber's left towards the crater, then up the final bit of the Boulder to the summit. Take skis, the cleaver is fantastic. Watch out for cracks at the top of the cleaver, they were opening up when we were there. Here is my TR. here is Skykilo's TR when he did the HW.
  7. Golite has been reasonably accurate in their reported weights. Still, I'm not going to call them up and bitch about an extra 1.6 ounces, that's just ridiculous.
  8. YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!! Seriously, I've simul-soloed () it three times since March. It's casual on skis.
  9. Take skis. Or a board.
  10. No manufacturer reports reliable weights in my experience. It it matters that much to you, take your damn scale to the store. And some variance between samples is unavoidable. Maybe Arc'teryx reports the weight of their jackets size small, and tomtom bought an XL. So instead of bitching at the company, figure out a way to get reliable weights (eg do it yourself) it it really matters so damn much. Wanting to return a jacket for one that weighs 1.6 ounces less is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard.
  11. Trango extreme s.
  12. Ya know, you should exchange it for XXS, that one will probably weight LESS than 10.8 ounces.
  13. Poor baby. Those extra 1.6 ounces are gonna kill you. Suck it up.
  14. No massive bleeding? No lost gear? No forced bivy? Dammit, Justin, you had my hopes up and now you dash them. I expected an epic!
  15. Sounds like someboy touched a nerve!
  16. Yeah, but it's so much fun to get worked up about dubious articles!! Bush bad, Kerry good...... Four legs good, two legs bad.....
  17. Read all about it! And for those of you who think that reducing import taxes or any other thing we do to 'be nice to them' will reduce their hate of us, you should read what Osama wants. Religion is a bitch. They hate us, and it won't change no matter what we do. Compare these guys to the Crusades, and you'll be staggered. Identical themes, rhetoric, and goals.
  18. lightweight hard Is that like a hardman?
