the situation: a pair of fritchi freerides in need of some boards the dilema: limited budget the need: a fat ski for in and out of bounds fun so i have a pair of fritchis sitting in a box, and i'm curious for some suggestions on what i should mount them on. my current/usual alpine setup is a dynastar power track 4x4 from about 3 years ago, not a fat ski by todays standards, but has been a good all mountain ski for me. truly, this fritchi setup will be used about 80% of the time in bounds, on powder days, and days when I feel like a fatter ski. cletus has reccomended a few skis to me, namely the atomic r.ex as a great all around ski, would perform well on powder days, but is still firm enough to bust through crud. I have also demoed rossi xxx and dynastar intuitive bigs (a tad heavy) and liked them both as well. so i'm looking for suggestions. weight isn't a huge issue, but i don't want the skis to be super heavy for the times i do go tour. am not really looking into a AT ski persay, rather something a bit more powerful for bustin through crud and shizzy. help me spend some money, suggestions please. ohh, i'm an ok skier, not extremely aggressive, so might even call me a big hairy pussy. please refrain from tele preaching as well

theoretically, the link should be posted by the site's owner... by submitting a site, you become the maintainer of it, the one that can change the description/whatnot i'd just use your normal user info here, shouldn't be a huge deal. I might just remove that part of the form.

Sup y'allz. I need your help. I just put a new link system on the site and need everyone to pitch in and populate it with usefull shizzy. So to help out, just go to: http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/index.php?option=user&op=UserLink and add in some links. If you can think of more categories that need to be added send me a pm thanks tim

I was hoping to make this forum here a place for such articles. Perhaps I can create another forum where folks can post their works like that, and comments/discussion about them will be restricted to another forum like the climbers board. I'm open for ideas.... I have looked into adding other content systems, but there has been little interest in the past. Though soon i'll be adding some stuff that is integrated into the bbs that will be perfect for this. rambling

I need to re-work the templates for the gallery to link you back to the boards. This is on the list of to-do's.

enterance page will be reloaded tonight, speaking of which the site will be down for a bit tonight! anyhow, the following folks have every PM they've ever received back! greg_w thelawgoddess tothetop christ erik if anybody else needs PM's lemme know!
-
ok so i found out why the PM's disappeared on some and no on others. It appears to have affected those that had WAAAAAY too many PM's stored up. Example TLG had 280 PM's in the system (don't i feel not popular right now). anyhow, I'm slowly restoring them, it takes a lot of time to do and its all manual. I will be installing a mod that will let you email your PM's to yourself so you can store them offline. in the future, we'll all need to clean up our PM inboxes prior to upgrades otherwise this will happen each time Greg_W your PM's are back
-
but you got your shaka back
-
fascinating! mine are gone, anyhow, if yours are gone, and you need them, lemme know, i got erik's note already, something about some good pm sex he had, wanted to get the messages back, interesting.
-
PM UPDATE- so the pm thing appears to be a bit messier than I expected, not good in fact. If you are in dire need of your PM's I can get them back. I'll have to do this by hand, and use the backup I made prior to the upgrade. If you need your PM's please email me, and I'll do them as fast as I can. Sorry for the fuck up, but it really wasn't my fault, it was jon's.
