I WOULDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS PEAK WITHOUT MORE SNOW....ALOT MORE. BUT I AM SURE YOU COULD CLIMB IT IN ANY CONDITION, BUT I WOULDNT OFFER IT UP TO SOMEONE NEW TO THE AREA WHO IS PROLLY LOOKING FOR GOOD SNOW AND ICE CLIMB TO DO WHEN IT IS SPARSLY COVERED WITH EARLY SEASON SNOW. erik just for the sake of reading comprehension, i said soon. not "it's ready now" and i qualified it by saying if this weather keeps up. didn't realize at the time freezing levels were going WAY up.

something more passionate about the tango than the other ballroom steps i learned

i took ballroom in college. thought it would be totally lame...super fun. tango I preferred triple step (I think it may be known as east coast swing?) and cha-cha. I could actually convince other people that I didn't totally suck at those. i think tango requires a certain state of mind and the right partner. damn it! i'm going to have to sign up for arthur murray now. ballroom

well ya see the ex actually has to show up and babysit for me to leave town so no climbing this w/e. work, construction on a friends house, more work, homework and if i'm lucky i'll get a couple days out of the office next week to climb...such is life hope work hasn't been too painful this w/e

not. it is was and will forever be lame to make gross simplifications about what may or may not be safe in a given situation. isn't there some value in attempting to learn from things that happened? it's tragedy and that should not be forgotten but should we not use whatever information we can to learn and maybe prevent out own tragedy? i had a nasty little accident earlier this year. the good news is that none of my pieces failed or it would've been worse. maybe i learned good placement from practice. and maybe just maybe something i read about someone else contributed to that knowledge base.
