  1. Is that Glacier with his pants hiked halfway up his chest?
  2. Ah, there it is: it's FEELINGS that matter, not reality. Of course demo-liberals will capitalize on these FEELINGS in their class-warfare politics. I'm so glad that you finally understand. Feelings are important. It's feelings that drive crime. Feelings are why we had a Watts Riot. Feelings are what determines social stability. Don't discount it.
  3. I doubt he remembers what it was he was trying to say. It's spelled "entendre", by the way. Interestingly, "entender" is a word too.
  4. Oh, if if only wishes were fishes...
  5. I really liked your post. You totally hit the nail on the head and I couldn't have said it better. What it comes down to is A) it doesn't matter what the cause of the income disparity is. B) it doesn't matter if the poor are not worse off than they were. All that matters is the disparity itself and the PERCEIVED injustice.
  6. Here's a more precise forecast. 14% chance of precip on Saturday.
  7. Scalia certainly WAS an anomaly.
  8. We don't need another cat thread. Go reread the existing one.
  9. The name of Fejas creates a quick, analytical, and clever mind; you are creative, versatile, original, and independent. You have large ambitions, and it is difficult for you to be tolerant and understanding of those who desire less in life or who are more slow and methodical by nature. Patience is not your forte. You do, however, have leadership ability and would never be happy in a subservient position. You are ambitious and aggressive by nature. You would be happiest in positions where you are free to express individually and creatively and where opportunities are not restricted; you desire freedom, and do not tolerate being possessed by others. You appreciate change and travel, and the opportunity to meet and mix with others, and to influence them with your creative ideas.
  10. Even though it pains me, I'll have to back up AlpineK on that sentiment. Quit whining and show up, dude!
  11. Wow, that was an interesting paragraph. The topic changed with each and every sentence. I had to read it three times.

I hope THE BIG ONE doesn't hit while he is spraying. [shake]...[sHAKE]..."what the f---!" Crash!
  15. Seems like there is a need for a big gear bank. Nobody wants to buy the stuff because it gets used so seldom.
  16. If they can't pay for gas, put them on the hamster wheel.
  17. Is it Fay-Haas? Or is it Fee-Jas, or Fee-Jazz? It took him five months to recover from the Hump Fest.
  18. Agent 99, I just kneeewww it! The old embarrassing-coif-messy-room-thread-resurrection trick. Promotes good inbox housekeeping.
  19. Gay or Autoerotic Squid?
  20. You nailed it. With religion, when you encounter a social problem, instead of saying, "Let's get together and decide on a solution that makes the most sense for the most people", you'd say, "Let's look it up in these 3000 year old scriptures and see what it says".
  21. Either it is foggy today or the telephoto lens is crappy, or both.
  22. My boss used to let us keep a sixer in the walk-in cold room in the lab. At 4:30 pm, three of four of us would proceed to his office for some "juice".
  23. I have to agree with him on the US. We are majorly f'd up. So Dru, care to comment on the degree of religion-induced dysfunctionality in Canada?
  24. Harding was being interviewed about his big wall climbs in Yosemite. He was asked, "what sort of mental preparation did you guys do before tackling those huge walls?" Harding: "Well, we sobered up, if that's what you mean".
