  4. I got myself a minidisk, it play MP3's and it rocks so far. If I had the dough I would get an I-Pod though. Motorolla talkabouts, I've wanted walkie talkies since I was a kid and never got'em. A towel. I had a dream I got a new Ice tool, but I only got one and it was the raven and I was like "I said I wanted the viper". But it was just a dream.

  11. So what make this an "approach knife"? It must be the clippy-thing.
  12. Grivel Pan pipes. They go over the shoulder, but you could prolly clip'em around yer waist too.
  13. I got the Petzl calidris, and it rocks for rock climbing and I like hard plastic gear loops, though if you ever find yerself going somewhere that you may have a loaded pack and the harness on, the plastic shit on the back will get annoying as will the gear loops, and it doesn't pack down all that well. The buckle system is really nice, somehow it's permanently doubled back which helps when ya got's dem cold digits.
  14. Yeah, they say they are waterproof, as long as they don't get wet. Superfiicial amounts of water are n problem, but they don't stray dry for too long if there it lots of slush or rain. I wonder what can be done about this since they are synthetic and all.
  15. Slice me off a piece of that action......
  16. "Asked why, he told investigators, "I got a kick out of the idea of having another person inside me."" ...That's what she said.
  17. I'm goin tonight. I hope it's not to dull, cause I usually fall asleep in period drama's.

  20. You mean segregation?
  21. Look at the boe-alps on their way up. Glad we got there before them.
  22. Thats exactly what happens, but once wicked to wool, there's not really anywhere for it to go when in a boot, and wool may wick, but it doesn't really dry that fast while in a sweaty non-breathing boot. When wet, wool sort of works like a wetsuit, in that the water/sweat in it warms up. I like the liners cause they are light and you can bring extra without adding that much weight, so even if yer woolies are crusty you can throw on a new pair of liners and feel all fresh and clean. BTW, what's with boots claiming that they are "breathable", unless there's mesh it aint breathable, and if there is mesh it aint waterproof.
  23. Three cheers for curves. I like Shakira. I wonder if she would date a climber?
  24. Yeah, doesn't redneck rhetoric involve admonishing "foreigners" for various reasons such as taking local jobs? I'm not sure what it so redneck about them there rules.
