At least we have a leader erudite enough to pronounce all of his words correctly and in context. Remember that to climb any mountain the most difficult part is often that one must first choose to do so and then take the first step. ______________________________________________________________ A walk down memory lane: — former President Bushisms "Will the highways on the internet become more few?" "It’s a time of sorrow and sadness when we lose a loss of life" "I appreciate the fact that you really snatched defeat out of the jaws of those who are trying to defeat us in Iraq" "I remember meeting a mother of a child who was abducted by the North Koreans right here in the Oval Office" "We’re concerned about Aids inside our White House – make no mistake about it" "I’m honoured to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein" "I’ve coined new words, like “misunderstanding” "I recently met with the finance minister of the Palestinian Authority, was very impressed by his grasp of finances" "It’s in our country’s interests to find those who would do harm to us and get them out of harm's way" "One year ago today, the time for excuse-making has come to an end" . "I promise you I will listen to what has been said here, even though I wasn’t here" "You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test" "I don’t particularly like it when people put words in my mouth, either, by the way, unless I say it "[The Taliban] have no disregard for human life" "When the governor calls, I answer his phone" "Those who enter the country illegally violate the law" "I think we agree, the past is over" "America stands for liberty, for the pursuit of happiness and for the unalienalienable right of life" "My job is a decision-making job, and as a result, I make a lot of decisions" "One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures" "I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office." "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Well then, I will only give it a hypothetical 25 more pages....

Concur, big time misleading post: but as an alternative to helping kick Marks ass, maybe we can help him or Frank to scan all this and then drink the beer while we revel in the photo greatness. There are plenty of archivists who would dig the hell out of preserving them for a museum.

What are you saying? Do we have to vote Bush Cheney BACK into office then? 8 years wasn't enough borrow, spend and war politics you want them back in to apologize and then fix this mess they left the country?
 -
....OMG...YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT! I predict another 25 pages after Raindawg posts the opposition message.
 -
I think that the President quoted me in his state of the Union speech last night JB. It won't be easy getting government spending under control, but if the President is committed to it, I believe that it will happen.

We have massive and difficult times periodically, we got through those and I'm sure we'll get through these. Do you think that always seeing the glass as half empty, (or less) is a good thing when complaining about it really won't affect any positive change but may have the opposite effect?
 -
Damn jb. I think you're a sharp kid and all, but do ya ever stop and just thank yer lucky stars that we live in such a kick assed country? It seems to me that you're always (and only) bitching and complaining. I mean, I'm not saying we're perfect, but take a moment to count your blessings dude. There are so many good things you can hardly keep a hold of them all. Once would never know it from your posts. It's like you're so pissed off and angry at....like...everything! Take some time to visit these other places, live, breath, relax, enjoy. We are so lucky and so blessed here. Really! Take care all !

Whooh, I just noticed that the Supertopo link was from 2 years ago.

Locked, but not B4 Raindawg linked this beauty on a bolt removal thread on Supertopo! THIS THREAD IS ABOUT THIS THREAD Raindawgs link to the Climbing bolt removal instructions on Supertopo Thanks for the laugh JH! The clinic should be expanded and re-named Route Restoration 101, which will allow for more in depth study with the 201 course later. Maybe with a Royal Robbins guest lecturer clinic as a highlight. ...of course, we have a 27 page thread going on already with this issue. http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/896687/27/Sport_vs_Trad

Obama brings "TRANSPARENCY" like he promised and all I hear is complaining. I hope this chart helps ya all figure this out.
 -
Well, me too, but when I see those kids screaming downhill on Mt bikes, you'd hope they have something on them to hold the pieces in during a fall, I sure would want something. Bet the Mt bike world has something for this application.

have not tried these yet: I had a jump hucking experience as a youth that almost kneecapped both knees. I slowed down and quit jumping off stuff.

I never made it past disbelief in the first paragraph "Americans do not trust the major tv news operations in the country- except for Fox News." I could only believe that Fox news alone would make or posit that kind of a lie claim.

..and sadly most of the rest of us as well:-( Damn

	Minx's back !

No he is frequenting a pig farm after last elections. Bobby, not to be too offensive - that was marginally worth a chuckle the first time you posted it, however, it seems to have a limited shelf life and in fact for the last 20-30 times it's started to sound like either Geo Bush speaking or fingernails on a chalkboard. Certainly has lost it cache and become a tad stale. Who writes your material? Perhaps you can suggest to your teacher to teach you some new humor in your English as a second language class?

Well, if you show up looking like a giant Glazed Donut, I think it might be difficult getting partners to tie in with ya. -
She didn't make much... and now...on a totally unrelated note:

LOL, I don't recall seeing those before! Rob's location is "with FW's wife" while Proles is "Arguing w/ A Dining Room Table" and Bob's is "in the gutter".

Any pictures of the gear you can provide for everyone? Earlier, I had taken some pics of my stuff, and posted them on Rockclimbing.com specifically for this reason. I've also painted my colors of blue and yellow, as opposed to just taped, my stuff, have felt tipped my name on slings, and even bought a metal stamping set so that initials can be stamped into some stuff. There are iron bars on my lower windows, 2 of my neighbors are home all day and there are 2 little yap yaps inside the house. I suspect it's probably not enough though. Damn that sucks for ya dude, hope you get it all back.

My vehicle was broken into and lots of tools stolen one night parked on the street right in front of my house, and I was pleasantly surprised that they were covered, less a $500 deductible. Allstate. As far as carrying all that shit in and out of my house every day, well, I became less lazy afterwards.

You're off track Crux. CBS = Crazy Bitch Syndrome, associated with ex-wife's and strippers. http://www.urbandictionary.com/author.php?author=Giselle I don't know why Fairweather insulted Prole directly with his header, and didn't take the opportunity to do a blanket insult to all liberals on this site. Weakly played Fairweather. Besides, Chavez is an equal opportunity bipartisan insulter, calling Bush all kinds of names, and now starting in on Obama with some of the very same insults (he's the devil and it smells like sulfur in here evidently works for all US Presidents). Now that he has nationalized the french company for trying to maintain their margins as the Peso was devalued, lets see how long until their economy collapses despite their oil wealth that makes them our 4th largest supplier of Oil. I dare say that no one here, not even jb or Prole, is supporting the man. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1538623,00.html

Nice way to close out the season on the south side! I'd have been there with ya-all if a still wind hadn't conspired an armor. I still got in a couple of hours of a solo TR cleaning lap on Child Abuse at TFS. Beacon looks primo there.
