not really cause often if u put gear in where ur hold should be its cause there was no onther place to put gear, so the only option is to place it or run it out. btw there are plently of trad route where u can't put gear any where u want specally if u climb wider cracks

nah sportos and boul;ders tend to rub in the ratings more than crack climbers, gotta get em back when we can

all 3 trad and anywhere, (squam index or 11) weather dependant i supose

i have soem of the same issues, i hate hostile group take overs, and it is hostile when a group of 20 or so people come to tr a handful of climbs and in alot of cases crowd out some of the better but harder climbs, kinda like the sportos that crowd out all the good crack climbs on sunshine wall.

this might be true, but i don't think so. there is more to climbing trad than you think, yeah u might be able to lie back a 10+ crack right now luke but try lieing back that same crack and placeing gear its a whole new game, not saying u couldn't do it but it would take u more than a week or two.

i don't remeber but i dont think they were right next to each other, and it was probly twisted several times

i don't know how the fuck i would shock load the chain while sittin on top of jellow tower , also at a hanging belay it wouldn't get shock loaded less there was slack in it and the leader fell and pulled all his gear, thereby shockloading the anchor besides for hanging belays i don't just use the daisy( and actually i dont clip 2 loops with one beiner either)

i once had someone tell me not to clip two loops on my daisy cause if it breaks i'm screwed. given they are right but i was sitting on top of jellow tower at the time and each loop is 800 lb test

tv does tend to take a couple of yrs off...
