This is a slabby thing to the right of the last one... Unfortunately again, snowy slabs protect it... rap in? Nahh, probably not worth it.

This one looks good too, maybe WI3 and 1-1/2 pitches? This one is "only" a 2 mile hike... (or boat again.) Access to the bottom looks OK, and you could probably walk off the top.

They say there's no ice in the Kootenays... This one looks like a nice 2 pitch WI3/4. Unfortunately the approach sux0r. Either a vicious long hike, or a boat to cross the Columbia. either way it puts you at the bottom of some ugly, steep, and snowy bush/bluffs that are between you and the ice.

Indeed, there was also a death in BC, near Revelstoke. Be careful out there folks. We have just gotten a large load on top of a snowpack that was rotting in the cold weather... WA seems to have a thin, weak pack, and, well CA is just a whole helluva lot of snow.
