I completely agree. Last year was the first year I stayed ski free. There's nothing better then gliding through the deep pow on a board!

Well. I don't see what the government has to de with marriage. If you want to get married, great. Why is has to be a legally recognized institution is beyond me. I say get rid of it in law and everyone will be 'equal'.

I went to VW yesterday because stone gardens was closed to bouldering and it kicked my ass. I was climbing v1+ and had done a v2s at SG, but when i got to VW i had a hard time on V0+. I did get one V1, but there were a few V0+ I couldn't finish. Are people that much better at VW? Goodbye the little ego i had built up.

This doesn't sound like a way to recoup costs, but a way to raise cash for other things. That is pure BS. This would in effect make rescues a profit center for the Sheriff's Dept. This could in turn raise other potential liability issues. A very dangerous path for the county. Some lawyer MIGHT get rich on this one. yea...all those guys getting rich at the sheriff's dept! Give me a break. Those helis are expensive. I sure $1000 doesn't even cover their costs for one rescue. I think it encourages a little more responsibility.
