well the car wasn't running at the time so I was between a rock and a hard place. Battery tested ok - or so they *assured*me. Lube man said it was "marginal". On the bright side: I now have a new battery *and* a new starter to see me through the winter (as well as rear differential fluid or whatever the hell he said it was).
