  1. Ooohhhh...I'm afraid of lizards and snakes! Unless it's a big black python coming up from behind... Oh yeah...and mofos!
  2. I'm gonna' jerk off to some GAY porn. How about you! and I'll be thinking about trask the whole time.

    Goddamn...

I just got back from Manray...and boy does my ass hurt
  4. Actually the mountie was arguing for the figger-8 in typical mountie fashion (the bowline isn't as STRONG!, ooooh). 9mm rope isn't as strong as 10.5 either. I like it when people argue over nerdy stuff like they're favorite knots, or they're favorite brand of cams.
  5. God, I waited for that to load. . You're abusing the dial-up users with that waste of time.
  6. That is quite possibly the worst reason to buy a helmet - they do little to protect yourself of those types of high energy injuries. I know, I wasn't justifying the logic.

    Poll of the day

Shut the fuck up, Klenke. The only part of this thread that was even remotely funny was the links that Scrambler posted. THAT SHIT WAS FUNNY. A bunch of dumb assholes bitching about whether or not Scott deserves more online abuse (he doesn't) is not funny. Fucking Klenke you fucking fuck.
  8. I have one broken tooth, one broken jaw and one lacerated chin, and really badly sprained ankle from skiing. A helmet would have never save me on these injuries without the big chin guards that some helmets today have. My friends who wear helmets keep bugging me to get one. They say I'll feel more comfortable at speed. But I dont' know if I want to feel more comfortable. I'm more afraid of a bad ankle sprain or a torn ACL than I am of a head injury from going fast.
  9. Hah, this is my friend dan doing a transciever search. Thanks for linking to a great site, MisterE
  10. I would just like to say that I am SOOOOO glad that Extremo is back on board. You are my favorite poster on CascadeClimbers by a LOOOOONG shot. We really missed you around here. Also, I want to nip in the bud any CONJECTURE THAT MAY ARISE OVER EXTREMO'S TRUE IDENTITY. Get this and get it straight EXTREMOMTDUDE IS AS REAL AS THE DAY IS LONG (or short as it may be January). STOP TRYING TO GUESS WHO HE REALLY IS BECAUSE HE EXISTS AND I'VE WATCHED HIM FROM THE CHAIRLIFT RIP THE CHUTE AT BAKER REPEATEDLY WHILE HE SKIED ONE HALF LAP AHEAD OF ME ALL AFTERNOON.
  11. I remember THINKING I was afraid of heights when I first started climbing, and then my friend took me up a 10d off-width for my first climb. On the rapell, I said I was afraid of heights. He said, "Actually you're not". I've never said it again.
  12. I would have been pissed when I first read this, had I not anticipated it. You're so fucking predictable it's laughable, Trask. The only thing I'm disappointed by is the fact that it took you this long to piss on the dead, idiot.
  13. You often hear of celebrities dying, and are saddened but not surprised. It seemed like John Lee Hooker's time was coming for a while. Same with Johnny Cash. I was never a huge Elliot Smith fan, but I've always respected his music. It's a bizarre kind of empty shock I feel to be listening to KEXP and hear he's gone. From the website Steven Paul (Elliott) Smith. August 6, 1969 – October 21, 2003. Elliott Smith was born on August 6, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska. Elliott spent his childhood near Dallas, Texas where he began his musical training at the age of nine, winning a local award for original composition at the age of ten. Elliott relocated to Portland, Oregon as a Sophomore at Lincoln High School where he was achieved the rank of National Merit Scholar. During his time at Lincoln High School, Elliott joined the band “Stranger Than Fiction” in which he composed music and performed until his graduation in 1987. Elliott later attended Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, where he majored in Philosophy and Political Science. During his time at Hampshire, Elliott, known then as Elliott Stillwater Rotter, co-founded the band “A Murder of Crows”. He later became a member of well know band “Heatmiser”. It was during this time that Elliott began to release music as a solo artist. During his lifetime, Elliott released five full-length albums as a solo artist as well as a number of singles. Elliott was nominated for an Academy Award for “Miss Misery”, his musical contribution to the Academy Award winning movie, “Good Will Hunting”. At the time of his death, Elliott was recording his sixth album, “From A Basement on the Hill”. Elliott is survived by a host of family, friends and fans.
  14. Now Limp Bizkit, they rule, don't they! The cure will leave a lasting impression on music listeners for decades to come (will Limp Bizkit do the same?).
  15. I noticed this problem the last couple of nights with a fast connection.
  16. I can't decide who's the bigger rascal. Him, or that "hegemony" guy.
  17. Can't get any more "Pinapple Express" than that!
  18. Thanks for the info Beck. That's so fucking cool. Now I wish I had actually ridden my bike to work today so that I could say I rode my bike on the rainiest day in history.
