  1. Where's a good local shop to take your boots to, to have them fixed? The front welt is coming off my K3's and I don't wanna just huck 'em in the can.
  2. If you read this news story carefully with the knowledge that you are more likely to be killed in a vehicle during a tornado then sheltering in a room with no windows hunkered down, you too would be thinking, "Damn, why did you have to miss God!" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16389942/
  3. I always try to fail upwards.
  4. Now i'm mildly annoyed.
  5. Your moderateness is displeasing.
  6. Come on guys, Spray free zone here.
  7. This is only moderately amusing.
  8. Though I see both my big toes, alas, I cannot feel them. Oh well, they don't hurt in my rock shoes anymore like they use to.
  9. Oh Christ, not more of this drivel.
  10. Dude, CBS has SKI'S?!?!?! WTF is he doing in JTree, we need to be shredding some Canuck pow pow.
  11. Here's a shot of him on top of Slippery Slab, our first climb together
  12. Hey CBS, While you are pulling down some sick stone at JTree, I'm sitting at my desk at work wishing I was there. Hopefully you are taking any grounders out there Let's do another FWA, I have some ideas and some scores to settle. Anyone have some good pics of the man out in the field??
  13. Right on Kurt. Do you think you'll make ski fest this year?
  14. I am not a weetard.
  15. Manimal, Also check out www.turns-all-year.com, and maybe ask the same question. The people there are all great and can provide you with a plethora of information on AT ski gear. You may find that your answer is posted if you do a little searching. Cheers
  16. I love bashing people while I know they're are gone out climbing for a few days.
  17. My attitude is that I'll never go out with someone I have not climbed with unless it's a route I'm comfortable solo'n. I have no problem making the call on someone who is putting me in danger and simply intieing from the rope and heading up (or down) on my own. Hitch hiking back home isn't that dreadful, better than being tied to a frozen body.
  18. I've been looking at the beyondfleece stuff, but haven't heard anything about how they hold up. They look nice, and with my lanky ass it would be nice to buy something that fit. Check 'em out: www.beyondfleece.com
  19. Most climbs can be approach via ledges from either the right or left, some farther than others. Children of the Sun, you can pratically park at the top of the climb and then TR from the telephone pole. Zenith is a bit more of an airy traverse in from the right, but nothing too technical. Everything in the Punchbowl can be approached in from the right via the walk off trail.
  20. It would be sweet if the chimney down low would ice up, but it should still be able to go in a moderate M grade.
  21. Sweet! Who's gonna finish off that large flow south of Zenith??
  22. Try to keep your crampons away from your hands this time.
  23. Tisk, tisk, tisk. Only in moderation my friend.
  24. W00T Nice to see some local stokey.
