  1. Mrs. Plum, in the study, with the lead pipe!
  2. Vacuum tubes and punch cards.
  3. Nah, it's really that slow. Too slow and too boring. Well, maybe it's not actually boring, but fuck, it's slow.
  4. If you can call a vehicle in need of a headgasket "sweet," yes.
  5. "A possibility." Come now, you didn't lose the autographed photo already, did you?
  6. Wha ..? Dr. Flash Amazing has attended all of the "Pub Club" events in Puddletown! And fine gatherings all! Perhaps you were simply too inebriated to remember?
  7. Trask, sometimes your lack of decorum can be a bit disruptive to the flow of conversation. It would be greatly appreciated if you would exercise a degree of restraint in your postings so as not to be so offensive. Honestly, children could stumble upon this material and be emotionally damaged, or at least uncomfortable and confused. Please, Trask. For the little ones.
  8. Word, Powell Peralta all the way! Fuck, instead of a pub club, we oughta have a PDX old skool skate night. Head down to the walkway by the waterfront on the East site with some 40s and a boom box blaring Minor Threat. Levi's jackets and Vans checkerboard slip-ons optional but encouraged.
  9. Falling Star Merlot/Malbec (also from Argentina if DFA is not mistaken) has been a solid bet for around 5 or 6 bucks in the past. No idea if its latest incarnation passes muster, but it's worth a try.
  10. Cripes, you're a bold bastard. Bit too much air 'twixt them bolts for DFA's liking ... yikes.
  11. Shove it in your asspipe, bitchsticks.
  12. As far as DFA knows, you still need gear at the top, although given the popularity of Rude Boys, the gear may be fixed. The Doctor has never ventured up there, however, so he's not 100% sure. Maybe when the bolt count doubles. Visual inspection will be your best bet, or if you still crave e-beta, someone at smithrock.com will likely answer you, perhaps even helpfully. Best of luck, and watch out for long whippers. Love, Dr. Flash Amazing
  13. "Drunk Flash Amazing blows Serious Chunks"? What?
  14. What's your signature about, Trask? Is it "Down From Alaska blows Snowy Chills"? Or perhaps a reminiscence of your last sexual encounter, i.e. "Dude From Alabama blows Superior Cock"? The mind boggles.
  15. Dare they question the clinical seriousness and steely resolve of the members of this web forum? Have we not met the spectre of defeat head-on, fought hard through torrents of spray and slander, through bad times and good, to finally drink heartily from the golden trough of victory? Verily, brothers and sisters, is not the very name of this site (not "sight," you'll note) indicative of our penchant for action, our thirst for conquest? What, indeed, is a "summitpost?" A pressure-treated 4x4 marking the apex of a hill? A passive reminder of the static status quo? Bollocks, says this Doctor. A pox on the firstborn of their hellspawned digital monument to panty-waisted twittering. Let them rot on their couches, in their easy-chairs, behind their ever-glowing computer monitors. We, the undisputed royalty of PacNW outdoor recreation, the sultans of salubrious spray, WE shall show those pitiful pissants what is what and who is whom, or die trying.
  16. What's that, Trask? Real men chug Jack Black? You ol' dirty dog!
  17. Jacob's Creek Merlot is supposed to be a goody, too. Nature's has that for about 8 bucks right now, dunno if that's cheaper than usual or not.
  18. While DFA is not a huge domestic wine consumer either, and can't remember the last Californian vintage he supped, but it matters little - the above listed wine is the B-O-M-B bomb! Buy it and see.
  19. Eh? Is Dr. Flash Amazing not a bullhorn for the vox populi? Ever a champion for the little guy, an unapologetic, bleeding-heart tax-and-spend liberal? Indeed, he is.
  20. Who gives a shit what anyone says about California's Cab grapes; this wine rocks it, and would be a contender at twice the price. Pinot Noir is yucko, and this Doctor doesn't find himself in the Syrah neighborhood too often.
  21. Hmm ... sounds like a sXe ride!
  22. You're on a roll, Iain! Careful, though, a rolling bird catches no worms!
  23. Why? You got X's on the back o' your hands?
  24. Indeed, Iain, the venerable Fred Shed is the source, although it could probably be found elsewhere. They're also pouring it at Laslow's restaurant. The winery, Mr. Chocolate, is in California somewhere.
  25. Ah, yes, and on a related note, wasn't it Lenin who stated "I am the walrus"?
