touray, no skis? tsk tsk. Yeah, the dakobed range traverse has been on my friend and I's mind for a while now.

My party was out crossing the talum/squak/boulder/park glaciers monday afternoon and the choppers did spook me a little as well.

Yeah, i got my whippet through a pro deal and I like the added security of having it. Also, you can pull some sweet dry tool moves with it when you are out skiing through choss.

how bout my team, the mets. they have the second highest payroll in the majors and are in last place. pretty f'n sweet.

I think the nozone might be too small for what i want. Also looking at the osprey aether and arcteryx bora series, but the bora stuff seems way to heavy.

I am looking for a good pack for climbing/ski-mountaineering, one that is large, but does compress. Does anybody have any experiences with the Andinista? Or any other recommendations?
