  1. No Herminator this year! Herminator Well here's at least one cyclist who could kick some ass in a brawl.
  2. I'm sorry, but this route is no longer allowed to be climbed as it has been skied.
  3. the andinista is nice and light, but packs terribly as others have mentioned. It is terrible for skiing. One of the zippers ripped out, and the top pocket divider ripped out too. My friend warrantied a defective ice sac (fabric delaminated) and they basically made him pay for a new one. I would expect more for the price of those things. That said, I have used one for over 3 years and take it when I really want to keep things light. It still packs like crap though. With the zippers compressed, it's like you're wearing a missile.

Whatever ploy it is, it's a stupid one because it just gets everyone enraged no matter what their opinion is on this war, ready to kill those guys. No one's backing off when people get shot in cold blood. I also don't understand why they bother to show themselves on those videos but wear huge wraps to hide their identities.
  5. there's that 5.5 solo over on adit rock. it has bolts now. and that former solo up to the bolts on spiderman. a bunch of bolts up the approach to white satin. sky ridge. round river direct. cave route. basically stuff you probably don't bother with.
  6. Hillary would never win the white house.
  7. I have some Garmont Towers, but I don't like the Gore-Tex. I would rather have thin leather boots. I don't think Gore-Tex works for boots. My feet seem to get damp over extended hikes with them. The Towers climb really well though, and are solid enough for some glacier travel. Great for low 5th class rock. Good for things like Mt. Challenger, for example, with long approach, glacier travel, and 5.6ish rock.
  8. Did you see any debris from the plane wreck down near the scree scar?
  9. So now anyone who gets shocked by a doorknob will also be handed a hefty lawsuit courtesy of that crap company. Don't be using your body as a conductive medium, especially without installing service pack 2.3021v3
  10. heli will be faster because the Meadows lift won't be running 90% of the time, just like all their other lifts. But think of the time you will save when your wallet is 50% lighter.
  11. Wow this is the ultimate in beta collection. You can drop even lower than both of those entrances for a very easy crossing of Yocum Ridge. That upper one looks pretty innocuous, but around the corner it gets into some steeper traversing and you will have to downclimb directly above, and negotiate a good-sized bergschrund getting back on to the Sandy Glacier. So if you want things interesting, take the upper points you've marked. If you want a relaxing stroll, go lower than this picture shows, below the cliffs.
  12. of course, it's insanely great
  13. You won't catch me in one of those plastic trashcans. I was merely stamping my post with snugtop approval
  14. yeah!
  15. This guy was a fricken comedic genius!
  16. Yeah it would have been great to keep dropping down to Morrison Creek TH. The slog already requires trudging over scree and dirt in spots. That run is so worth it though. Damn I'm still thinking about how good it was.
  17. or you can click on the link I posted above.

  19. Off to a good start but disappeared after 3 posts
  20. This one is pretty good.
  21. The road is a go for pretty much any vehicle. There are some washboard sections but high clearance is not necessary.
