I think a lot of companies would like to do this but many forget that you have to deal with customers. Customers whine, they complain, they send stuff back damaged, they haggle and buy small-margin items with a ton of sales rep overhead. This is not something BD (and others) is really set up to do.

i've heard if you carry more that 7 monitors or televisions or whatever on/in a car you are carrying enough hazardous materials to technically require display of dot hazardous waste placards and associated hazmat protocols are in effect

I've felt pretty unsure of myself on solo climbs and I've only soloed more moderate things like reid hw and stuff on hood or the north sister in oregon. I guess I feel more lonely than anything else, just hanging out on steep ice in the dark, in total silence with just the sound of ice tinkling down the gully. Those climbs have been by far some of the most rewarding mountain experiences I've ever had but I can't believe I keep putting myself back in that spot by choice though nice post!
