  3. I think you should be elevated to "Free-beer-giving Lord of Spray"
  4. quote: Originally posted by Beck: karma's already predestinated who's going to recover those cams, you dolts. Darma, thats affectable. Duh!! Come on guys.
  5. Liberal fucks, in general. Russki, I haven't seen enough of your posts to label you either way. Peace.
  6. I'm going to be there in February on business. These routes sound great. My only question is: which of these have sun?
  7. quote: Originally posted by thelawgod: Hey lawgoddess, I've got some extra room in my sleeping bag--what'd say we hook up? You guess can exchange briefs. Bwa hahaha

  9. Nice post, Dru. Just read that myself the other day and enjoyed the honesty; I've felt some of the same things myself.

Wahoo!!!! I think his wife would win the "Hottest First Lady" Award. Plus deer and elk season would be national holidays!!! Greg W

Are you bringing the Ghetto Blaster so we can jam to Cop Killer in the campground Yeah!!! I vote for that; I'll even contribute some batteries. What kind does it take?
  12. Nope. Chicago. Vote early, vote often, in true Richard Daley style.
  13. Matt, just bring plenty of your business cards with the 24-hour phone number on them.
  14. Do we still have to pay for campsites? I vote for Dr. J to represent us to the man. That way, while Larry the Tool is wrestling Dr. J to the ground and cuffing him, we can hide any and all contraband!!
  15. quote: Originally posted by Dru: quote:Originally posted by RobBob: Pacifica is at least on par with Al Jazeerah in terms of objectivity... Yeah, how dare those Arabs listen to al Jazera when they could get their unbiased, objective news straight from CNN - and in English too, a much superior language! Yeah, the bastards!!
  16. How about a "closed for cleaning" sign at the entrance?
  17. quote: Originally posted by Peter Puget: ...and strangely the guys with the most real war experience were the most in favor of the Gulf War and the complete and decisive defeat of Iraq. I don't find that strange at all. My opinion (after talking with many veterans) is that they have seen how horrible war is and would rather see the job done once as opposed to having to send others in again. Thank you father for his service. My Grandfather was on destroyers in the Pacific. Greg W
  18. quote: Originally posted by mattp: Everybody likes beer (don't they?), and I gotta say (in advance) thanks to TG, but let's try not to let this get out of hand. We don't have a group campsite this year, and we will have neighbors in the campground who may think we have too many cars, make too much noise, or whatever. Lets all have fun, but try not to make ourselves a target for Larry the Tool or the County Sherif. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Claymore mines and a 24-hour guard!!! Is someone designated to "reserve" a bunch of campsites all in a row? This might help the situation.
  19. quote: Originally posted by Dr Flash Amazing: quote:Originally posted by Greg W: quote:Originally posted by russki82: is it any more right for people who will never have to fire a weapon and dodge bullets to scream for war? Why weren't the liberal fucks asking this questions when their favorite son, Bill Clinton, sent our military into harm's way more than any other president in recent history? Don't know, Greg. Sounds like it's a double-standard for both sides of the fence, though, wouldn't you say?DFA - The hypocrisy is on the Left. I never said a Commander-in-Chief cannot send troops into battle if they haven't seen combat themselves. I am just pointing out the hypocrisy. As President, it is his job to send the military into battle if the situation calls for it. Greg W
  20. Okay, next question: Would you send them back to have sewn slings put on or would you tie your own? Webbing or cordage?
  21. Does your double-post mean you still have double vision from all that beer?
  22. Microchips under the skin are next.......
  23. Bitchin' pub club last night; Celtic Bayou has good beer and good food. In attendance: Capt. Caveman, Col. von Spanker, Tread Tramp, Mattp, forrest, rodeo, bronco, lisa, AlpineK, dr. j...who'd I miss? Great hanging with all of you. GregW
  24. I recently bought some old-style tech Friends off of a guy who said he last climbed in the early 90's. The cams look in great shape, not a lot of scratches, slings look like their in good shape, etc. A friend recently raised the question about the reliability of old nylon even if it has been in the closet. The sewn slings do not display ANY dirt, stains, fading, etc. Does nylon break down regardless of where it is stored (this was in a closet)? Greg W
