  1. That's still blasphemy, you limp noodle. Trask isn't saying the NRA should abandon the fight, just focus on a different arena.
  2. Yeah, like Muffy is posting from a Carmelite Nun's Convent. Yeah, right!!
  3. I have always found it somewhat arrogant that people believe that, based on a limited sample size of data, humans have grossly altered global weather. All these people also believe that the earth is hundreds of millions of years old. In light of this age guesstimate, doesn't such a small sample size make some of you wonder? Global weather is cyclical by nature; deal with it.
  4. Way to go, Mr. N. Chuck Pratt, 1965.
  5. Well written letter. Thanks for posting it, Trask. Don't apologize for what you believe, dude, or you'll end up sounding like that pathetic noodle Trent Lott on BET. I do agree with large parts of that letter. However, I do feel that Chris Cox (head of ILA) is getting my views in front of those in government. I am encouraged by their lawsuits and the other work they do. I do agree that after a certain amount of time one can become part of the evil machine. As I have always stated, all we have to do is rely on the Constitution. Greg W
  6. Nope. Wow, stumpin' Dru even.
  7. Nope, Mr. N. As one of your favorites, I would think you would know who said it.
  8. j_b: I would maintain that my use of "fraternize" fits the definitions you list. Mainly, "to be friendly or amiable." I'm sure we disagree on whether Iraq is our enemy and Baghdad Sean's activities over there.
  9. Way to go, Mr. N. Here's another: "I feel that my enemy is anyone who would, given the power to do so, restrict individual liberty, and this includes all officials, law officers, army sergeants, communists, Catholics, and the House Un-American Activities Committee. Of course, I'm prejudiced, but I cannot imagine a sport other than climbing which offers such a completet and fulfilling expression of individuality. Andi I will not give it up nor even slow down, not for man, nor woman, nor wife, nor God."
  10. I refused to make peace.
  11. They are connected, Toasted. Saddam doesn't stand with us, he stands with Al Qaeda and radical Islam (not that I think Saddam gives a shit about Islam as a religion). Sean Penn is fraternizing with THE ENEMY; someone who has publicly stated he is our enemy.
  12. "I find tha rockclimbing is the finest, most healthiest sport in the whole world. It is much healthier than most; look at baseball, where 10,000 sit on their ass to watch a handful of players." Who said it?

Sorry, from a decade that also produced Vanilla Ice, Menudo, and DeFarge.

Let me try this one: "Girl you know it's true", Milli Vanilli
  15. Be sure to post serious TR's with pics and all. There seems to be tons of beautiful country down there. Oh, and have fun. Oh, yeah. I think there was a write-up in Climbing some time back about sweet alpine climbs in NZ. If I find the issue at home I'll let you know; could provide some direction.

Or their government corporate jet is given the wrong coordinates for landing and they fly into a mountain, a la Ron Brown.
  17. Did these epics entail the climber realizing that his Pusher beanie did not properly color-coordinate with his Prana pants?

Thanks for playing, Glen. Good one. Wanna go drinking?
  19. Forget peace in the Middle East. This is Nobel Peace Prize material right here!!!
  20. Haven't been there, but I have trouble imagining anything named 'Daisy' or 'Buttercup' being instrumental in an epic. Sounds funny when you think about it, but then, I'm ignorant on the subject.

You're welcome. How 'bout some MC Hammer?

Oh, Iain. You need to relax. It is all in jest. Actually, I do not believe in active "management" of the liberal herds. Such management actually enhances populations of those species.

Well, Iain, I am pretty proud of what those people did and that I live in this country. You don't have to be proud, that's okay; that's your prerogative (insert Bobby Brown flashback here). My favorite was the banner: "The Man Who Relaxes is Helping The Axis"

He said "something", Iain. Trask is a hunter which is not illegal. The fact that he does, or does not, carry a concealed weapon is immaterial.

Actually, Muffy, under the rule of law that is not correct. Making that statement very specific, as in relating that action to a specific person, can be considered a crime. I don't remember what that is called, or where the precedent lies.
