I think I've read that you should replace slingage as often as you replace your rope. Personally, I just keep an eye on them; especially tied runners. I write the date on mine.
Can't go wrong with Calphalon pans or Henkel knives; I love mine. I agree with Off White - who doesn't love a new knife; 6" or 8" chef's knife is a good versatile tool. Got a cleaver? That's a good hunk of steel, baby. Or, two words: barbecue tools.
Nope, never been. Haven't really climbed sandstone, save Peshastin; so, I'm kind of excited. Have a few ideas on climbs to do, but always welcome input.
