    Hey, Guido!

So that new sub-border tunnel goes right to your house eh?
  3. I bet she's showin' off her notch to the whole world right there on the cover too! FLOOOOOZY!
  4. No kidding Matt. I sent an email to the lady who wrote that article. Here is my email: Her response:
  5. I believe this is the bellinham big wall:
  6. Yes. I've done it before. You wanted to be thought guilty? No, I just didn't want to talk to the cops and they obviously wanted to "talk" to me. Why should I risk getting roughed up by some meathead cops who obvioiusly mistook me for some crime suspect when I knew I could outrun the portly fuckers? There was a Supreme Court case recently (within the last 10 years or so) that decided that running from the cops was justified and did not constitute probable cause for search/arrest/etc.
  7. Yes. I've done it before.
  8. Wow! Nice pics. That one of Triumph is especially
  9. I thought this thread was going to be about me.
  10. It must have been cold there in my shadow, to never have sunlight on your face. You were content to let me shine, that's your way, you always walked a step behind. So I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. A beautiful face without a name -- for so long, a beautiful smile to hide the pain. CHORUS: Did you ever know that you're my hero, and ev'rything I would like to be? I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. It might have appeared to go unnoticed, but I've got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it, I would be nothing with out you. (CHORUS) Fly, fly, fly away, you let me fly so high. Oh, fly, fly, so high against the sky, so high I almost touch the sky. Thank you, thank you, thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.
  11. The SW buttress (really nice rock climb) is not the SW gully (loose choss fest when not full of snow). I believe the SW gully is how the goats get up to the summit. Sorry to hear about the leg. I hope you are out climbing again?
  12. I'd like to add that I enjoy seeing old bolts on routes. I'm not suggesting that EVERY rusty old 1/4" relic should be left in situ, but I think it's pretty cool to see some of the old hardware that the route pioneers used while I'm safely attached to a fat 3/8" SS truck stop.
  13. Yeah! It is an awesome route. One great pitch after another. You should post some pictures of it to "fuel my psyche and uncage my soul"!
  14. A FIRST ASCENT POSSIBILITY!!!!! OMG! This thread is hilarious!
  15. Senor Skyclimb (where the hell you at bro?) on the OW:

    Pub Club?

If you show pictures from the Picketts I'll show up.
  17. I just saw someone reading this thread and thought I'd bump it. Daylward's beta above is really good and I wish I'd read this before I climbed Backbone. Oh well, I guess I've done the left fin variation, I'll have to go back sometime and do the right variation. For the record, I think the OW is 5.9 and I think you do want a #5 camalot for it. Goatboy, did you end up climbing BR or SR? What did you think? I haven't done SR.
  18. Well, as it happens, I AM superior.
  19. Georgie says, "I want the facts. The best place for the facts to be done is by somebody who is spending time investigating it."
