    I'm A Lucky Guy

I think Layton will be able to advise you that "I have a GIRLFRIEND" posts on cc.com inevitably lead to trouble. Unless you're archenemy.
  2. The trick to breaking your Carhartts in for climbing is never washing them. After about a week they will be nice and flexible, like you have a in each pocket. The first thing that wears out on mine is the ass. Does arborwear have a double layer ass?
  3. Ya and I'm tied in while belaying too! Belaying with the ass belay too. Maybe I was the last person ever to learn to belay with an ass belay. The next time I went out the guy I went cragging with took pity on me and loaned me a Sticht plate.
  4. Wisecrack in the Smoke Bluffs. October 1990.
  5. It's more like a warning. If given far enough in advance, maybe Smiff will be empty and only Canadians will be climbing there
  6. November 10-12. You betcha
  7. Trip: "Inkawthia" Peak - Poss 2nd Ascent? - via Charles Creek Date: 10/27/2007 Trip Report: Jmace, jordop and I climbed this c. 1897m peak NE of the Old Settler on Saturday. weather was overcast but did not rain, bits of blue sky later in the day. A guy at Lakeside had told me the road was reopened in September and it turned out to be true - washouts regraded and downed trees cut throgh - also, all the gates were open and unlocked. 4wd-hc got us to the last clearcut at 1050m. We followed the fall line up to the ridge crest and thence along ridges to the summit. The peak is composed of very nice granite, although the S and East sides are reasonably steep they are also broken and heathery and maybe not all that impressive for technical climbing (but i'm sure you could eke out a couple of 4-pitch Class 4 lines on a summer afternoon if you felt like it) We found a survey marker on top and some scattered rocks that may have once been a cairn, say 30 years ago or so. The views are pretty good, especially across to the Anderson River Peaks and SW to Old Settler and Medissa. Gear Notes: Ice axe or ski poles. Approach Notes: East Harrison road to Cogburn Creek Cogburn Creek to Charles Creek Charles creek to end 4wd-hc Bushwack to ridgeline.
  8. Wow I'm glad we didn't go to Zero now because it would have been a gong show with seven people in the gully!
  9. I thought that was for people worried abnout the intertubes mind control rays penetrating their tinfoil hat?

    $3 Gas

If he drove, how much would he have to pay for gym membership to get same workout? Factor that into cost/benefit analysis. also extended lifespan from being in good shape. And reduced lifespan from possible soccer mom SUV collision.

    Monogamy?

Is monogamy expensive? It seems like sewing those initials onto all your handerkchiefs would take a long time.

    You

HHHAHAAHAHa i thought of that myself (way, WAY before you did) and didn't comment because i thought it would be better as a replacement for nutsack.....i.e. "getting jiggy wid my nooksack" etc. HELLO OLY CLIMBER IF YOU LEARN TO USE THE SEARCH FEATURE YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT I REFERRED TO NOOKSACK TOWER AS NUTTSACK TOWER WHILE YOU WERE STILL A GAMETE IN YOUR FATHERS SCROTUM

  18. If the chalk colour matches the rock, how do you see your tick marks?
  19. There are easier peaks to get to in winter...
  20. I mostly hate BD tools because of the stupid grip. Charlets fit my hands. BD stuff breaks more than Charlet stuff. BD picks have to be tuned, Charlet stuff is good to go right out of the box.

    Monogamy?

In medieval Tibet, where polyandry was practiced, the culture was also male dominated. There weren't enough wives to go around so groups of brothers would share one to get their cooking, cleaning, sewing, and sex. Think about that.

    Amazing

In 1980, 6 different kids came to school on Halloween dressed up as Rubik's Cube. the next year, everybody was a breakdancer, or Michael Jackson.
