  1. The Vertical World in Redmond does not have any, but Edgeworks sez they still have "plenty" left...

    New Forum!

Jose Guillen had a lot of problems before he took the opportunity to shine in the Mariner's clubhouse too; amen to being positive and supportive! Moving forward I think the focus has got to be landing a veteran catcher, and NOW. Good to know that despite landing Figgins, Lee and Bradley the M's still have money to burn...go Jack go!
  3. Dane -I'd love to know why you think the Reactor "sucks", and why you would continue to use it for three seasons...

    New Forum!

If they don't score on Bay, I agree that it would be AWESOME to have Cameron back as a left fielder! He'd be a more economic option as well... Signing a veteran catcher is a top priority (injury prone veteran B. Molina?), as is extending Felix's contract and finding someone else to throw into the starting mix. I'd like to see them bring back Branyan (again, good value) and to keep Lopez -he might not have the best numbers, but he'll only improve and has been great in the clutch. Beltre doesn't get near the love that he deserves due to that ridiculous contract he scored...it'd be great to have him back in the line up as well, but I got a feeling he'll end up being a fan favorite in another town. Bill Hall is quite an expensive utility, and Carlos Silva ain't exactly pullin' his weight in gold...what to do, what to do...
  5. Plenty of ice at Skookum as of yesterday; tennis shoe approach.

    we suck

Not everyone aspires to the same goals...while it can be fun to marvel at the (climbing) accomplishments of others, rubbing them into someone else's face seems like an awful way to celebrate those achievements... And for those of you that continue to whine about greener pastures -what are you waiting for?!
  7. I've often thought the same thing -maybe even a seperate forum for "East of the Mississippi" or something like that, along with an "International" forum...

    Veterans

Thank you to all of our veterans. Thank you for your commitment, service and sacrifice. I think other opinions would be better placed in another thread.
  9. That was fuckin' awesome -thanks for sharing! Good to hear that Bill is still rockin' out too!
  10. Everytime I've been to that campground a really nice elderly couple are running the show -but it's been quite a while now...I would second the suggestion of a cheap motel; last year we surfed online for some deal that had us staying in the Sahara for less than $20 a night! I'd still bring a sleeping bag though, as it is a room with two beds for less than $20 a night...
  11. It was crispy good at Index!
  12. I like it when my books have lots of pictures: In the Throne Room of the Mountain Gods -Galen Rowell Soul of the Heights -Ed Cooper On Ice and Snow and Rock -Gaston Rebuffat Newer ones (for me) that I'm pretty stoked about: The 11,000ers of the Canadian Rockies Updated -Bill Corbett Flakes, Jugs & Splitters -Sarah Garlick *anything by Greg Child*
  13. It takes a few more shoulders to keep Griffey afloat...best 3rd place season ever!
  14. Please PM if interested, thanks.
  15. Other easy/moderates there at the Private Idaho that are very much worth doing would include the second pitch of Curious Poses and Instanbul (which I remember being wider than a "handcrack" for me). Sure, a little dirtier than say Godzilla but certainly nothing to keep you away. I saw another thread/post somewhere recently about the K-Cliff -more quality pitches for the mortal whiners like myself!
