  22. Trip: Red Mt--Snoq. Pass - SW Ridge Date: 3/21/2009 Trip Report: Photos on Flickr Click "Slideshow" The Mercer Park+Ride team of five enjoyed the "Transitional" Snow pack while skinning in past the masses in Commonwealth Basin. Summiting the steep Red Mt in 4+ hrs uphill, boot stepping the last 400 feet to a great summit. The views were smacktacular. The ski-down from summit wasn't as terrifying as we all thought it was going to be. We had to work the crap down low hard, but we really enjoyed it . Bring on Spring! There should be a tr on TAY soon from Lisa and or Victor. Nice skiing with David and Jamie too! Gear Notes: axe, cramps recommended.
