No beta. But it looks like a solo or short climb in person... Or if you are not sure take a short skinny rope 30m 8-9 mil and like 5 pieces of pro. Probably a nice day climb.

Rumor is viagra is real good for altitude adjustment. Diamox is useful I suppose if you take it as prescribed and drink a lot of water. My buddy was pissing up a storm a few days back after taking it so one could assume you have to hydrate a lot.. It is my understanding that diamox is more for adjusting to the current symptons and not necessarily made for making MS go away if you travel higher. But then again I was just listening to my good friend and never took any. I am convinced that to thwart it best drink WAY more water than you want and eat a lot - or more than you think at elevations above 12k. Latah

Bummer. If you had DSL you might never want dial up again. It's 30 bucks where I live and damn about 5-8 times faster or more it seems. Good luck.

Find climbing partners here. Plenty of them. As long as you dont have a tude.

Yeah but it was a secret. Nobody knew the spot was outside the hut.

I rode my bicycle about 4 blocks to the local cd shop and purchased the 10 album set of Led Zeppelin. Pro's- NO live songs and all studio versions that I prefer. Many classics to download to my micro sized MP3 player at will. Dont have to listen to Earth Wind and Fire. Cons- Chicks dont rampage and swarm me because I own this.

Traversing up the mountaineers creek road to the summertime trailhead there is avvy danger in the wrong situation. Mt Cashmere's south slopes slide... There is a lot of terrain above you there. I can also agree with some of your comments about SC trailhead as well.

gloves are worse than shoe or boot questions. You will get more than enough answers. I have tried the glacier glove underneath multiple shell systems to work good for most ice climbing. For skiing it also works. But just approach skiing I usually wear just a glove linger. Sometimes I wear a marmot ultimate ski glove but the sewing on my pair has proven to be sub standard and I wont buy them again. I got a free pair of gore tex mtn hardloser gloves but the lining is so thick they proved to be lame for ice climbing - figggured it out on o jack. gloves are like socks and shoes. One size and style does not fit all.. Some people like freezer gloves and some like wool. Wool is reliable material... Search seek sample sue and style.

Just be hostile and let the email addresses be public here. It will be more use for us than reading gibberish and stuff not necessary for some. Or start a thread mark it hot and give all the details there - probably better.

Get a camera strap deal. If it is around the shoulder then something to make it close to the waist the better. Using something warm for the camera or storing it inside a jacket will help for digitals as I have found 2 problems with mine - Cold weather makes it freeze to a point where I cannot shoot. Water and snow get it wet. I prefer to take my digi over anything else these days but have a large camera as well... Carrying my digi camera inside my jacket seems to do the trick most of the time in colder times but sucks if you are sweating a lot and will fog the lense perhaps. David Parker has a very nice olymus digital camera that is weather resistant and worth looking at for climbers. One thing I noticed about your post is that you are mostly snowshoeing hiking etc. If you are on moderate terrain then carrying a camera in bluebird or nearly that sort of weather would be ok in your pack according to me. But actually technically climbing maybe not so much. IN that case I carry mine in a ziploc back or another camera in a kayakers waterproof back. Ziploc more user friendly. I got one of those plastic carabiners at a climbing shop to attach my camera leash to the camera case in case I drop it.

This mountain has been climbed on in winter a number of times. Some dude that I was climbing in the Rockies with last summer has done a route in winter on it. I dont think it was one of these 2 but whatevah. It doesnt have to go to the true summit to be a route. THat has been acknowledged...

It's all about the brain function here- It's not surprising he was found in the situation. Maryloser\Allisdumb take some educational courses mmkay? Many fugutives are found at lesser "living status" if not most than a previous situation. Did you think Saddam would inherit 150 billion bucks for his actions or what? Stupid is as allison does sometimes...

They got em. Whiners ok but your arguments are weak because even your saviour presedent would have rejoiced and probably waged war.

short skis are fine. I am 5.9 190 lbs and ski 183's. I would take on a set of 165's if I wanted to hike solid snow and ski it in the spring \ summer \ fall \winter if I was a year rounder but I aint... Mostly it would depend on how far I would like to lug my skis.....
