I am off friday as many are. I will be headed to N Cascades. No all time favs here. It all boils down to the entire experience which means partners, accomplishment, scenery, quality, enjoyment, and even most of all season. The winter season can change a mountain and route in more ways than one. I can find new climbing experiences every season that surpass the last one's. It's not about a large or perfect rock route all the time. I climb for me and not for the chestbeating. Although if I get a good photo I will post it here once in a while.

Gold Slogger all three of us were up there two weeks ago. The trail is totally passable. Yes there are logs but if that deters you maybe you should just stay home and wank your meat on some "friendly" areas more often. Matt that does count. But only if you did the supposed 5.6 on the lower section. I think Beckey would rate it 4th class at best. Exhibit A below.

I recommend a big wall rack- 3 camalot #5s 2 #4s 2 #3s triple of everything smaller than that. Dont forget to bring 2 ice tools and ice screws
