yeah, dont stand under the ice cliffs on a hot sunny day.

I wasn't "Looking for route conditions" but if you send me a message I will gladly email you some photos to look at.

David, Wayne, Fred will be at pub tomorrow. Would like to see updates\revisions for 3rd section of volume 2. Maybe you should give him some info? Tell him where the cougar couloir rappels really go

I saw it with my blind eyes. Cool looking mountain

horsecock and cheese the ultimate alpine diet when snafflehound soup cannot be made Glad you two made it down ok. We had to bail as B. needed to be back home. Or else we would have waited. Also did not want to bushwack in the dark.

There is one also like that at the Yakima Firing Center.

Trail is wiped out by avies a ways in there. Go to the avy debris. Then go up it several hundred yards. Look for a snow wand sticking out a fallen tree root on the opposite side of the debris. From there go to the trees on that opposite side. Bushwack straight up to below Sahale. I have never been in there before and found it no problems. Dont bother asking me any more beta. The people demand chestbeating gapewad TR!!!!! Tell us how you pulled the bloody flesh off your feet and threw it in the cook-pot for dinner. "It might be our last meal ever..." Here is my chestbeater TR! --> Chestbeatergalore [ 07-08-2002, 08:23 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]

Need help with research project: gear manufacturers
Cpt.Caveman replied to fredrogers's topic in The Gear Critic
The best gear is a fat green one and a Guinness Stout. All the rest is hemp rope and hobnails and it dont matter. -

Partner 4th July WE--something alpine
Cpt.Caveman replied to hollyclimber's topic in Climbing Partners
HGB (is that Holly Grizzly Bear?), I am a gaper but would climb alpine in N Cascades. Would like to climb N R Baker or Forbidden Peak or something like that. Check your Messages. Looks like Figger Eight has not responded to mine so I still have no partner. I hate aid climbing. -
Kill trucks Kill trucks.
-
Figger Eight- If you have friday off let's climb something. Check pm for number.
-
Finding partners for Leavenworth is easy. Thanks anyway Look for mtn climbing partners. Nothing final but have some replies so far. Anyone want to tackle Baker N Ridge or something in Boston Basin?

nolanr, I have never seen a ranger back there past 5 miles. I recommend the Snow Creek trail. Also recommend bivying away from the trail more than 400 meters or so. They WILL TICKET YOU. is all I can say. If you want specifics send me an email (rayborbon@hotmail.com). I feel more comfortable relaying good info personally for various reasons. Beta is good and they never fill their quoats anyway. Half the people leave and never make it all the way back there.......... Either way chances are that you will not be bothered...
