I dont know about one rope but rumors persist about a 4th class bypass to the left and I saw it first hand a bout 2 weeks ago. It might be too melted now. I thin it is an early season deal. Snow finger to the left and across rotten rock. Obvious if you are headin there. Good luck.

Go for orbit and dont settle for less. I was a beginner first season on gear and lead the chimney and other pitch I mentioned. Bring some small cams or stoppers for that upper slab. Long slings good too. It might be a little warm up there so bring some booze

Orbit has short protectable cruxes and is way better. R&D is essentially a roadside 3 pitch climb if you got a 60M rope. Very nice but not quite the same.

2 Entire pitches of slinging and climbing chickenheads. Have fun.

Orbit is pretty cool. Take the chimney and pitch leading to the belay stance Pitch 1 and 3 and then the rest too. Those upper pitches are fun. Knobs galore.

I already climbed that route

I think the trail is maintained by the large avies sweeping down to the valley floors in winter and by the snafflehounds in summer. I didn't think it was too bad myself.

Juana, I aint got time for it this season but if and when I decide I am up for it I will call you for the beta. My guess is the beta might be to bring the bivy sack and a stove hehe? Maybe that Layton guy is going for it next
